Pizza 🍕

Thanks for that idea , for me everything but bell peppers . In the last year we have really enjoyed rising crust pizza . My go to is a Hawaiian . Wife loves supreme . I do 99% of the cooking as my wife is disabled . We have pizza every Friday night . I love not having to think or make anything for dinner . Our local store has pretty good pizzas for a price I could not make them for . Just bake and eat .

The longest part was finding the crust recipe. I found one so that’s good dough it could be better.

If you ever do caramelized onions you’ll need:
More onions than you think,
Time (and I mean this’ll be an afternoon but damn is it worth it),
Some clarified butter,
Water,
(Optional) garlic that’s put in at the end and heated long enough till it’s aromatic.
The way I usually go about it, I get my onions ready, put them in the pan that’s on low medium heat, somewhat drown them with water at first which helps with separating the layers (about 1/3 coverage),
once the waters almost gone add a bit of clarified butter,
and from there, it’s just stirring it and adding a bit of water here and there when it gets dry so it doesn’t stick and burn (mind you the clarified butters meant to be a thin glaze, not so much it fries it and prevents sticking);
you can stop where you like which would be:
golden brown, rich golden brown, or go all the way to that deep dark brown that has a jammy consistency.

Thanks , I sauté onions often for onion burgers . Also when I feel like a bit more work I sauté mushrooms also . Just shift to pizza . I had never thought of them on pizza before , thanks .

Haw have I not commented on this thread yet?

Well my dream pizza is: sourdough base, BBQ sauce, chicken, chorizo, red peppers, red onion and mozzarella. It’s the one I make when we want pizza for dinner :face_savoring_food:

But the one that goes anytime we host is a double pepperoni drizzled with hot honey :joy:

It’s unorthodox but I love pineapple on pizza. To make it worse, I like to sub the ham for anchovies :face_with_open_eyes_and_hand_over_mouth: I love it

You think pineapple on pizza is bad? Wait for this one (it’s actually super nice).

When visiting a friend, a place near them did a pizza with:

  • Chicken
  • Mushroom
  • Blue Stilton cheese
  • Sausages

Very nice, though I didn’t eat the mushrooms because they’re gross.

Tongue buried deep in ass/pussy :white_check_mark:

Mushrooms touching even the tip of my tongue? :face_vomiting:

I live for 80% per year in Curaçao, an island in the Caribbean.
There is a restaurant, Il Forno
they have the best pizza Pepperoni in the world, amazing Chicken Margherita and Tartufo! I can eat it twice a week, no problem

If you think Pineapple is strange - wait for this one.

Before you all say - yuk, try it.

Jamie Oliver did sausage, red onion and GRAPE.

I thought that’s strange but the sweetness once cooked, really works and I like it.
