Holy crap, ladies and gents. Assuming you own a vagina (or ever have sex with someone with a vagina), you need this in your life. I’m heading towards 40 and in 10 minutes I’ve learned more about female pleasure and how to achieve it than I have in my entire life. I am absolutely staggered by how incredible it is. And straight guys - you owe it to yourselves to get this, you’ll learn things about pleasing women that they don’t know themselves. I would think any man pulling these moves was the best lover I’d ever met. In fairness the husband does a lot of it already (he’s done his research!) but neither he nor I knew most of it to be honest and we aren’t exactly shy about trying things out. Both “seasons” cost me £65. Best money I’ve ever spent and I haven’t even tried out any of it yet!
Signed up to it!
Never heard of it!
What is it?
Is this a sales pitch? I’ve never heard so much hype in a post unless it’s selling something. When it’s high on hype and low on actual detail (to get you interested) its odds on a sales pitch.
It’s the biggest study into women’s sexual pleasure - they’ve taken the results and turned it into a series you can buy which includes written information, instruction, videos of women talking about their sexual experiences showing what works for them (bear in mind that although these are graphic this is not porn, there is no Male gaze here - which is amazing to see), interactive simulations and animations.
No, not a sales pitch! Look at my account, I joined years ago, never mentioned it before. It’s that good. I’m not even kidding. I don’t know why female pleasure is so taboo but this is an absolute game changer. I am not on commission I promise! Google it and have a look at reviews.
I didn’t mean to be low on detail, I was just excited 😂 I’ve explained more above and I wasn’t sure if you could link to outside sites here but just google OMGYES - they have more info on their website. I realise this all sounds gushing (snigger) but it’s honestly brilliant - I am gutted that I (and my sexual partners) didn’t know all this 20 years ago.
I haven't googled it yet, but I will. My suspicion is that it costs so much - why? There must be plenty of peer-reviewed studies out there on the internet for free. And books on Amazon etc. What have they discovered to justify the price, and if it is scientific and researched it would be pulished, and if it was a collection of stories anecdotes and tips it would be pulished in a different way. Who runs it and why are they charging?
I'm not criticising your enthusiasm or the fact that you are highlighting it as something helpful - I''m very pleased for you if it is great. Just wondering about the research, funding and motives....
Off to check it out... is it better than a Shere Hite report?
is it better than a Shere Hite report?
Oh... showing my age, somewhat!
I totally get your reluctance - I’ve known about it for a few years and always thought, too expensive, might be shut etc. They have published their findings, according to the website, but obviously studies are quite dry and not as accessible. They’ve done a lot of work - it’s all very user friendly, accessible, undaunting, there’s interactive simulations which would be great for partners and lots of real women participating of all ages. Ive honestly never seen a close up a woman’s vulva while she demonstrates and explains how to achieve an orgasm - there are many examples throughout easch season, and it’s so far from porn it’s ridiculous. This week I spent £60 on a sex toy - I’ve now just spent £65 on both seasons of this, and I guarantee this is what’s going to revolutionise my sex life for the rest of my life. Honestly, I think it’s ground breaking, hence my enthusiasm! I just did a google and there are articles in the guardian and many other reputable sites about why it’s worth the money. I apologise if in my eagerness to share I’ve come across like a paid rep or something (I wish, because I’m going to be telling every woman I know about this)! It’s just hard to explain why it’s so incredible because I’ve never seen anything like it. For example, I’ve only ever seen the term edging in reference to men - it’s one of my favourite things but I did t think women did it. Turns out the majority do it, more women than men, but we don’t talk about women doing it. No one has ever told me about it, I figured it out on my own, just like all these women - but there are so many things on there I haven’t stumbled across. If women discussed these things and we all knew about each other’s tips, imagine how good our sex lives would be! I’ve grown up reading how to please men, how to give the best blow job etc, but I know next to nothing about women’s sexual pleasure at all. Which is shit really, but it’s not true any more!
Forgot to add (importantly) the purchase price you pay funds the next round of research. Part of the reason that there’s so little research into this is that no one cares enough to pay for it - so I guess it’s like female orgasm Kickstarter 😂
Hi, I've had a look at what I can see without paying, and read some media reviews. It looks to me like a great collection of wisdom, all in one place and repackaged for a digital age. I would have loved something like this (as far as I can tell) when I was young, and would certianly have wanted partners to know the info. I think the info has been around for a long time, but it is good to have it all collated in one package with interactive videos etc which are informative rather than porn.
I'm not sure the price is justifued - it seems to be taking advantage of (young?) people's thirst for knowledge which is already out there, albeit here, there and everywhere. And I'm dubious about making up names to describe age-old activities. I'd rather just explore what feels good than say 'let's do x' and have to look up what it means!
But I can see that it is an up-to-date, informative resource which uses modern tech to good advantage. I still queston the price tag, but if I was at the start of my journey with a partner, or just wanting to find out how it all goes as my younger self, I'd be very tempted. I have no doubt that it all contains a lot of info men could use, as well as women.
I don't think age matters - it is experience and where we are on our travels, and what helps at each stage... as I say, the price tag - I'd be tempted to look at books first but I can see the appeal of digital...
Good luck!
They claim that theirs is the first large scale study of female sexual pleasure ever, and that they’ve worked with 20k women so far for this project so I think they do have some new insights. Obviously I haven’t read every study currently available on the subject or every book so whether there’s much that’s new, I don’t know. I have read books on the subject before but have never felt what I’ve felt reading and watching this - it’s honestly ridiculously liberating reading / viewing. I’ve had the odd epiphany reading books but nothing like this. I do think it’s very important work too. Books are a great way of accessing this info, but I think the written, video, animation, graphical etc approach is so effective. It’s definitely not cheap but I do understand why they’re charging a lot (so that they can fund further research - I’m glad someone is doing it and I’ve already emailed them about something that I think is a massive topic that needs to be covered with almost no research so far, total loss of libido in women and the related issue of female hormones). You can buy one season for £39 which is not much more than a lot of sex toys (and a lot less than some!). For what you get I don’t think it’s that expensive although I think they could do with showing a sample topic for free so people can really understand what they’d get I’m not saying it’s for everyone, especially those who are already extremely knowledgeable / work in sexual research for example - I thought I was pretty knowledgeable myself, I’ve certainly read a lot, seen a lot and tried a lot! I realise it sounds like I’m being over the top but I genuinely feel like this content could make a huge difference to the sex lives of women. Plus I see a lot of men saying they really want to please women but just don’t know how - well here you go, everything you need to know about how to touch women effectively. Hopefully those men will put their money where their mouth is! My husband is also very impressed - he prides himself o his orgasm/pleasure-giving prowess (to which I can attest) and has read everything he could find on this subject when he was younger and he is really floored by some of it. The women in these videos are absolute heroes - so brave. I also think it’s difficult to know whether your orgasms / sexual pleasure is as good as it could be - I thought I had experimented enough that I had found everything that works best for me. I bought this today and already I’ve felt things that I have never felt in my life... wowsers. And I’ve only focussed on one topic so far although have browsed several. I think I’m in for a fun few weeks!
Enjoy!
I think women often know more than they generally feel confident about sharing. A resource that both men and women can access, together or separately, where everything is in one place, can only help. We have a lot of enlightened men on the Lovehoney forums but not everyone's partner is like that and many might like to learn more... let's hope so.
Female pleasure is definitely something to talk about and find out about. All for that!
I'm intrigued, and at one time I might have bought into this. It is stlll expensive. Are they targetting their advertising towards young men? That could make a difference to the sex lives of lots of folk. Teaser tasters on youtube etc? Maybe they do that - I'll watch and wait for now. If it works for you, go for it!
I found this review, which seems balanced? (For something I haven't seen - ha!) Hope it is ok to post a link....
The link won't post... apologies Lovehoney if I've broken the rules. Done with this topic now :-)
It is expensive, definitely. I think it’s worth it but I took a leap of faith only based on what I’d read about it. I wish they would market it more to men (although there are many tips for partners of women throughout the site, and stats about the impact that the information has on sexusexual relationships) but I think they’re trying to focus on women and empower them which I understand. There’s lots of encouragement for men to use it throughout. I know lots of women are conditioned so that they feel strange or embarrassed about asking for what they want or insisting on certain things - having an authorative source giving explicit direction can only be a good thing (eg in the topic on adding / fisting, there’s an obvious direction that lube is absolutely essential, and I can’t tell you how many of my sexual partners have been opposed to using lube as much as needed, so having something that backs you up on things would be handy). Fundamentally I think lots of men need to see these videos as an antidote to what they see in porn - women masturbating, having a conversation at the same time about what they’re doing (because only in porn do women immediately start writhing and moaning as soon as a finger is laid on them), videos focussed exclusively on a vulva and demonstrating exactly how they’re getting themselves off. I didn’t realise I’d never seen anything like it until I saw it, if that makes sense. Anyway, I would heartily recommend it to women and to anyone who wants to please women. Apologies if my paragraphs are missing again, they keep disappearing!
I had heard of it but seeing how much it cost put me off.
I've always experimented with masturbation then sex so thought it was a lot of money to teach an old dog new tricks to be honest.
If you've had partners dismissing your needs for lube etc., I think you're best off dismissing them! My OH came to me not having a clue about sex other than what he'd seen in porn. He'd also had a few partners enabling the porn myth of women orgasming at the drop of a bloke's y-fronts by constantly faking them. To say he had a bit of a shock with me is an understatement.
He's now the best lover I've had because he was willing (and more than a bit eager) to watch and learn from me. I've returned the compliment and he's a happy guy, too. We still experiment but there's a limit to how many new "tips" we've had from various people and places that actually work.
I'm lucky that I know my own body and have no trouble with orgasms, but I think the key to a good sex life is honesty and communication. If you have a partner that is neither you're flogging a dead horse.
I'm glad it's worked for you but wow! That's a lot of money for tips that can be had for free just reading through these forums and product reviews.
As an aside, I do wish masturbation would be talked about more openly. In a perfect world it would be taught as part of sex ed. So many people miss out on one of life's biggest pleasures due to lack of communication and embarrassment.

The forum does have a tendency to eat paragraphs, but there's a couple of workarounds in the forum tips thread that you might find useful -
Hope this helps. 🙂👍
I saw OMGYES featured on the C4 documentary last week about Female Orgasms. Could be worth a handful of people in your friendship group (those super open about talking self pleasure) getting together to buy the subscription then comparing how you get on (or get off, hopefully) with it…
I’ve only seen the first series I’d love to get access to the rest. It is so good there should be more content like that availabile
