Plus size/curvy lingerie from Lovehoney

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but does anyone know how Lovehoney differentiate between their plus size/curvy lingerie and the “standard”. For instance, there’s a “Lovehoney Plus Size Boudoir Belle Cherry Push-Up Basque Set” that comes in a size 6-8. Is this cut differently to the “regular” size 6-8, or just an indication that it’s available in a larger size?

I can only answer as a husband, but I know my wife got some “curvy” basques from here and it allowed more room for her bust. She buys 12-14 ( forgive me as I don’t know if this is plus size) but she has bigger boobs, so this stuff works for her as the normal range of size 12 doesn’t give her any material to cover her boobs.

Hope this helps, but do read the reviews as everyone is different but there are some fantastic people on here that give great reviews on sizing etc.

Hi @EdinburghDominant I have the Boudoir Belle Cherry Push-Up Basque Set in a few different colours.

I believe its two separate listings[1] simply so the plus-size item can go in the plus-size category. I see no difference between my size and smaller sizes. This also helps when people search google for plus-size lingerie - If it was all listed as one product, it wouldn’t come up when searched.

Hope this helps you :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

My Mrs used to buy 1x size which was the first size in the plus size range I believe. However she lost a lot of weight so had to replace a lot of her lingerie. Some she managed to get the same items but in a 10-12. She wasn’t overly big but was very curvy at the hips. And still is. However I think the sizes are generic and change as a whole not just at the hips or breast region. I think a lot of items are available to suit most sized people, however some are only available in smaller sizes. So it’s the category plus size will only view items that are listed with in plus sizes. It just filters out things that aren’t plus size. Also when she was around a 14 with huge boobs a 12-14 wouldn’t fit and they’re wasn’t so much room for them so had to size up. If they’re a regular sized boob then they’re shouldn’t be an issue with buying you partners generic size. They’re normally pretty forgiving otherwise.

Likewise I always presumed it was a different cut of the design to help give the same look on a curvier figure.

My OH is 18-20 depending on brand and 1x/2x always fits and flatter (in my opinion!)
