I feel like when I “set up” my dildo on a surface I really want to get as much use out of it as possible. It feels more elaborate so I try to use it for as long as I possibly can, normally about an 1hour <

I imagine length of use depends on a person’s stamina and how good of surface it is stuck too . Also just how energetic a person is . Some days it may stay stuck for 20-30 minutes , other days I exert extreme forces and can break it loose multiple times .
I suppose a good follow up question would be:
Are the shorter times the result of it not sticking as long as you’d want, or do you remove it to place it in a new location 
Oh, getting them to stick is an artform in itself. If I’m honest, I shy away from them because of limited success with the sticking.
The only two suction toys I own is the Lifelike lover and the Fantasy tentacle they have a really strong suction and will often stay up for days after use. The only way I can get them off is by sort of “peeling” it at the base. That being said I’ve used other fantasy dildos (at a dungeon) and they just didn’t seem to stick to anything I tried. It seems to be very hit or miss!
Rethinking about suction toys , I thought of other suction devices I have used . Temporary antennas come to mind , they have a cam lock set up . If you use on a clean surface and clean the cup well , they will stay forever . However the mount would add manufacturing cost . However at the price for many dildos , I think the manufactures could eat the price . I bet the materials and forming probably cost $5 - $10 max .
Love suction cups. Sort of, not completely, gives you the feeling of getting serviced with no hands encumbered by using hands.
Where is the Lifelike best presented? Looking to introduce for the 1st time but need some inspiration to put into the play and accepted to ride.
Results are mixed and, ignoring the surface you’re sticking to, seems to be very much determined by the rigidity of the material and the quality of the sculpt/mould. Clean edges with no air holes or flashing that provide an airtight seal.
I’ve got one of those large separate suction devices that come with some male masturbators. They’re generally not fit for purpose and can’t withstand the mechanical vibrations.
