Poor show

I don't think it's quite the best arguement to say that CBT is too "extreme" to be represented. There's no hierarchy of kink and other niche tastes (electrostimulation, sounding, that one dildo shaped like a skull -bless the internet) are catered for. Lovehoney's clientele do appear to skew female, but there's no way of knowing whether that's cause or effect -as OP says, men who want CBT toys buy them elsewhere, at the risk of tautology.

Agreed with regards to classifying what is "extreme", but disagree that these kinks are being left out. Lovehoney do cater for CBT. I can see urethral sounds, ball stretchers, ball clamps and chastity devices etc in store. There are not as many of these items as, say, spanking items etc, but maybe there is a reason. Maybe using the word "too extreme" is wrong, instead it should be "extreme enough to be generally unpopular" In other words, if something rarely sells because the demand is small, so it sits taking up space and gathering dust.

Like...I wouldn't go into debenhams or M+S and throw a fit because they don't sell Latex studded bras or crotchless leather pants. They are a general clothing store so I don't expect to find niche (or specialist) items of clothing on their shelves. I feel like its similar here. somehow.

Agree with Ness on many points there. I am particularly fond of the Dominx range myself. I think this was a fabulous addition.

Plus 'Dominix' is a great name, right? :D

It is a great name...and I butchered it by calling it Dominx >< lol

Just re -read this and I am quite disgusted in which the 'tone' of the original posters message comes across. I know things can be misconstrued in text, but I am sure I have read it right this time.

The original poster may know people who do not shop on here for CBT stuff but as others have pointed out, there is CBT stuff available.

To describe Lovehoney as a 'poor show' is just damn right rude and completely unsubstantiated, considering they are the leading online retailer of sex toys. I also know from personal experience that they can and will go out of there way to help out a customer with stocking items. I had previous emailed customer service driectly with a link to another site for an item asking whether they could source it as I wanted to purchase via here and not use another retailer. Turns out it was in the pipeline to stock anyway.

Furthermore to then go on to say that you do not care either way just completely belittles your own rant about Lovehoney being a poor show.

I would call a company with the following credentials a poor show...

Totally agree JJ.

So is DOMINIX a Lovehoney own brand?

Great naming skills by the way

I will do one day - though when it was aired it was on a channel I dont have.

Not sure if its available elsehwere nowadays or not...

I know, I know.... what a poor show from me for not watching it!
