I'm really struggling on the porn front to find stuff I like and tend to get put off when it takes me half an hour or even more of coming across stuff that really doesn't work to find one thing that does.
The only consistency I've found is I loveeee James Deen. Not so great acting aside, what he does in sex is a big turn on for me. Things like his hand placements, you know the little things like that. Things that make it a little bit more intimate but so that it's still him in charge.
Does anyone else like him? Or can anyone recommend something similar? I know it's up to me to figure out what I like but suggestions of similar things would probably be a great help.
All I can say is I will watch anything with James Deen in it! Love the way he whispers things to the woman he's with but unfortunately it's so quiet I can't actually hear what he's saying but I bet it's naughty! And also the way he makes eye contact almost constantly, such a turn on. It's a bit hard to recommend things or people in porn because everyone's taste is different but someone else I like is Johnny Sins, maybe you could check him out :)
Watched James Deen with Dani Daniels in Sex & Submission last night. The closest I would say is anything like James Deen is Manuel Ferrara. They both have the same kind of intensity to their scenes and personality.

Don't think I've watched porn with James Deen in it, probably because I very rarely watch it, but this thread has made me curious. *wanders off to perv*
I've watched him with Stoya and if that's typical of his work then I'd say he really likes the girls he's with and seems to be sharing real intimacy and pleasure with them, not just banging away like a very buff road drill.
Yeah, all his stuff's like that. He seems to actually enjoy making sure the woman he's with gets maximum pleasure and he genuinely looks like he's enjoying it .
There is a whole movement within the porn industry: Porn for Women. LustCinema do some beautifully shot stuff with a much greater focus on intimate interaction as opposed to the traditional impersonal anatomy pounding. I think this is a positive improvement on an outdated industry model that was so one sided and entangled with issues of gender inequality and abuse. I think porn has become so prominent in our modern technological culture that it is almost irrelevant to demonise it. In my opinion porn should be art, that elicits an emotional reaction and thought. The problem with porn in the past (and largely still present) is that the focus has been unrepresentative of reality and it’s multitude of varied perspectives. The narrowed repetitive narrative has failed to provoke a broad enough spectrum of emotions to encourage thought. In turn this has turned porn from art to a commercial industry with little regard for its employees or end users.
I want to see at least an equal amount of porn directed by/for women so that it is more representative of reality and aspiring to be mutually enjoyable. Maybe even enlightening to or inspiring of unspoken female desires.
