We used to before the kids but now it’s cum and straight up to clean

Been there done that 
For my wife it’s more a matter of UTI prevention. Having a wee shortly after sex is a requirement for her.
Some clean up will happen at that point.
I follow through shortly so I can clean sex toys and put them away once dry - dont want the kids to come up in the morning and find them all over the place!! 
We like to go to sleep with no clean up. Love the scent, the feeling. Many times waking up in the middle of the night for another go around.
