One thing I have noticed that bothers me is that prices can change during a sale promotion depending on demand. Before Christmas I was looking to place an order and it said sale ends in like 4 days and I was waiting to place the order a couple of days later when delivery would be better for me (nosy visitors) and the price changed on one of those items. Bit disappointing when a sale is advertised as running for a certain period of time and the prices increase before the end of the sale. I get stocks sells out but prices shouldn’t change.
Seriously though, maybe the premium is accepted by many buyers who love the how simple it is to order and the discrete packaging items arrive in. Customer service isn’t free either, the odd time we’ve had a quibble it has been fixed quickly.
I’ve never really noticed before as tend not to shop about but makes total sense when thinking about it as they’d probably not be able to do so many discounts if prices were at a lower
I wish you could stack some discounts. I was given a 20% off card with my last order because I got a few things and I wanted to be able to stack the gifted % off, but couldn’t. It’d be better to give people £X off the product if blocking stacking discounts. I’m not sure if they do a birthday discount but that would be good if they don’t.
They do a birthday discount, 20% as far as I know. And you can stack this on top of a normal site sale, just not with another code based discount. To be fair if they let you stack code based discounts i’d have a site sale (up to 70%), birthday voucher (20%), reorder code (another 20%), social media promo code (yet another 20%) and mailing list code (20% again) so it would be maybe 14% of the listed retail price. That’s assuming I haven’t missed any opportunities xD
