very nice indeed x

I don't mind you ladies taking over my thread for your appreciations of male anatomy - well, you did answer my original question, so I will let you off this time.

I would like some more people to answer though.

Walrus,

Don't worry about it too much, if they were that straight laced they wouldn't be on here in the first place. You probably tell just as personal story in the pub & who can listen in to that. Don't give your exact location or name names, Ok Frank, from Wetwang....

Shit!!!!! delete, delete!

It was a worry of mine when I first joined.

Thats why I have chosen my totally random name - not really 'naughty' by nature!

There are only two people off here who know my real name, and one other who knows a vague area that I live in....thats cos hes a bloody good guesser!

My husband was quite paranoid about details, was quite bothered that I may be traceable. But I dont think I have given too much away.

So - its just a case of going easy with any snippets you give out, checking before posting etc..

I cant do without my daily dose of this forum now.

I have never been found out any more than I wanted to be. (that I know of). I'm pretty out with all the people I know, and they are aware of me and my blog, so for me this forum is pretty tame, really. :p

As to whether you personally are giving away too much information, walrus, I don't know how any of us could possibly know the answer to that. We don't know you, so it's really hard to tell how much information is too much for you, you know? As for your partners, as long as you do not disclose any identifying information about them, then I don't see why you cannot share information about experiences which happened to you personally.

I think the only person who can decide which and how much information is too much for you, is you.

You might try keeping in mind that although you know who you are, none of the rest of us do. I personally am not spending any time trying to figure out anybody's actual identity, the thought never occurred to me. I don't think a lot of other people here are either. How would any person really benefit from knowing who you are? The fear of exposure might feel really huge to you. But I think it's unlikely to happen, precisely because however scary and huge it is to you, your personal exposure just isn't that important to anybody else, you know?

Lubyanka, as I said, I am not bothered if anyone knows who I am. I started getting worried when I realised I was writing about other people without their permission.

And I am not so concerned about people who have become members of this site. I am more concerned that is actually public - anyone can read it, including people who might be completely unsympathetic to us.

Flip side coin there Walrus.....yes anyone canread it as did I. Was doing a search for a sex toy - and stumbled across this site. Its not a site I would have thought about going looking for, but boy am I glad I found it.

If people are unsympathetic then thats their problem not ours, the old adage - if you dont like it dont watch/read it!

My apologies, walrus, I was under the impression that your chief concern was the discovery of your identity be others.

My experience is that most people who may be unsympathetic might join the forum simply to flame, and then LoveHoney will suspend them and they won't be able to post anymore.

So what is your concern, what do you worry will happen if unsympathetic people read what you write?

I don't know Lubyanka, just a general paranoia that comes over me sometimes - maybe a hangover from security conscious circles I have sometimes moved in. (There I go again - saying too much!)

I don't want to give anyone the willies (bad joke), I want this site to carry on as it is.

the chances of anyone, even if they know you personally actually clicking who you may be are pretty remote so dont worry so much,
