Product Materials... What's your favourite?

Mine is exactly the same as you said it Cazz.

1. Glass

Very close between glass and metal as I love them both. But I think glass looks more pretty.

2. Metal

3. Silicone

:)

For Dildos

1. Glass

2. Steel

3.Aluminium

4. Silicone

Vibrators would be

1. Silicone

Plugs i love metal or glass

Dildos silicone, glass, metal

I've only tried silicone. How different is the feel of metal and glass? (I need to get shopping!)

As others have said, it depends on the item.
But as a general rule it would be
1. Glass
2. Silicone
I don't have any metal items so can't comment on those (although I'm definitely going to buy a metal something or other at some point)

Metal
Glass
Silicone

Metal is definitely my number one!

I think after reading everyones comments i may get a metal dildo =D x

Dildos:

1. Realistic Materials, 2. Silicone, 3. Glass

Vibrators:

1. Realistic Materials, 2. Silicone, 3. Smooth Plastic

Bondage:

1. Leather, 2. Satin, 3. Faux Leather

1. Whatever it is that the Doc Johnson TitanMen Intimidator is made out of (love that! ![](upload://l9s9e23YKLHpoOzgGVeUkhZGcEr.gif) )

2. Stainless steel

3. Real-feel materials (such as this http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=10747 )

1) Silicone - preferably the softer, squishier variety such as Vixen or Tantus O2. (for dildos) and a firmer, silkier silicone (such as Lelo, or the new We-Vibe Touch) for clitoral stimulation.

2) Stainless Steel: It reacts to temperature so well and holds onto body heat amazingly well. So smooth too.

3) Glass. Similar reasons to stainless steel.

I prefer steel and glass to be slimmer and prefer it for g-spot stim and anal play. For simulating penetration, thrusting or just having something inside me while using a clit vibe, I prefer the soft silicone.

hi cazz

for us it would be

1. Glass

2. silicone

3. metal

metal is last as we havent tryed any metal toys yet

based on my most used toys

1. Plastic

2. Silicone

3. Flesh feel i.e. UR3, X5

Dildos would

1. Glass

2. Metal

3. Silicone

Vibrators would be

1.Silicone

2. Ceramic

3. Aluminum

Thugh I do love and favour my Lelo Mia for clitoral style toys - not sure what that's made from but it's perfect for a bullet.

1. Glass

2. Silicone

3. "Jelly" Rubber

I think glass is best for dildos, then jelly rubber. And silicone is best for vibrators ![](upload://ez5kOkpKXRZOxjavAURYmQxVTau.gif) I don't know if its relevant, but leather is my favourite material for bondage ![](upload://l9s9e23YKLHpoOzgGVeUkhZGcEr.gif) Oh, and silk for lingerie!

1. Reaaally soft silicone

2. Glass

3. Plastic

1. Ceramic

2. Glass

3. Silicone

Silicone, more specifically whatever Adrien Lastic uses, or bionic bullet is also nice, but my butt plug smelled weird so i didn't find it the best.

I also like smooth coated plastic like cupids g spot vibe and the flash 6 function usb bullet.

I really dont like the jelly rubber or jelly silicones at all, never tried metal and i cant get glass to work for me, although i really like heating it for temperature play.

Depends on the toy really.

For non vibrating vaginal penertration:

1. Glass/metal (pretty similar to me?)

2. Silicone-matt only, not that shiny stuff!

3. Gelly/real feel dildos- these guys would be number 2 but I'm always to scared of how hygienic they are, do they contain hidden nasties etc.

Vibrating things:

1. Silicone all the way. Esp for penetration or rabbit style vibes. Absolute fav material is actually the soft squidgey stuff they used for the Tenga Iroha range!

2. Smooth coated plastic for bullets and external stimulators (eg the Lovehoney Dream Bullet). Never for internal things though.

For anal play:

1. Silicone-again matt only. Best for bigger sizes.

2. Aluminium or glass, but only when warmed!

3. Soft, real feel-but again, scared of the chemical nasties. Not PVC.

So I guess my overall preference is matt silicone!

For us it's:

Butt Plugs & Dildos:

1. Metal

2. Glass

3. Silicone

Vibrators:

1. Silicone & Plastic (Plastic wins slightly for external use, Silicone for internal use).

1. Silicone

2. Glass

3. Metal

For us :-)
