Prostate massage

Looking to buy a prostate massage toy for my husband but would like genuine recommendations from any current owners as the prices do vary greatly

Secondly- is it a matter where one size fits all as some look bigger than others :lovehoney_heart:

Well, some are bigger than others…

My first one was a pretty cheap one from somewhere else that was very approachable - insertable length was about 3.5 inches, and girth also about 3, maybe 3.5 inches.

When it died I replaced with the Mantric remote control prostate massager. It did take a little work to get more comfortable with, but I’d say it’s still very manageable as a beginner-ish prostate toy.

As you’re introducing the toy together, I’d say it’s good to feel very comfortable taking it slow and not to feel like it failed if he just enjoys using the vibrator on his perineum or around the outside of his anus. Even now I sometimes really enjoy just staying with the vibrations outside or just barely penetrating for lots of my playtime. It’s nice to have a dedicated vibes that’s all for my butt and not worry about contamination.

I’ve had expensive and cheap yet actually think price don’t matter as found both ends of the scale to be rather same quality and just as enjoyable!

Size wise for me I think you don’t necessarily need massive for prostate play but then it’s all different depending on the person’s preferences…
I still to this day say my best toy is the lipstick tango bullet vibrator from we-vibe… it’s small but hits the ass just right for me and the vibrations are the best I’ve had in any toy :relieved:
Probably isn’t meant for anal play yet it works wonders for me!

I’ve had quite a few, but one is by far my favorite. I’ve had smaller and other designs but for me this hits the spot.

In this area, as I’m sure it is in others, price is secondary to preformance. I own the metal njoy wand and a cheapo hand held massager and had mind blowing times with them both. I think personal anatomy and preference plays a lot into it to be honest.

Aneros Vice 2 and nJoy Pure Wand are my go-to’s for booty bliss.

@batjamboree I would second this recommendation on @JMS55
I’d had a few before this one but OMG this does the trick every single time… not to big but definitely filling…

@batjamboree I do have one that is very effective but sadly LH has discontinued the model and I am not sure if I can even find a link for it.

@batjamboree I was wrong, it IS still available…perhaps it was just sold out at one point and I assumed it was discontinued.

I’ve tried a couple, with some success, but never reached the legendary ‘super O’. It can take a lot of practising, trial-and-error, etc, so orgasms of this type are difficult to achieve, and the whole subject is quite complex. I also suspect that some people may be unable to get all the way there, no matter what.

I strongly suspect that getting the size just right, so it hits the spot, is the ultimate key, so you could end up spending lots of money on one, only to find it’s the wrong size.

There is a lot of advice out there on achieving orgasms through prostate massage, but it’s often conflicting, and it seems to me that what suits one person doesn’t necessarily suit another.

In both cases, the ones I bought were just static, not vibrating, so there is that option to consider, as well. I understand everything is achievable just with the non-vibrating type, and I wanted to try to do it this way, before investing in a vibrating one.

So I am saying don’t invest lots of money on the most expensive when it may not work all the magic, and a cheaper one might be just right. You may end up buying several before you hit the target.
