I currently own this one…
But it never wants to stay in when I’m thrusting into my wife doggy style.
Can anyone recommend an alternative that firmly stays in place, doesn’t have to be vibrating.
Cheers all.

I’ve not had a prostate toy that stays in. I think you really want a large buttplug with a narrow neck.
Or ones made for longer use ( note the narrow, more comfortable base and narrow neck )
These exotic shapes might help
As for prostate specific toys ..
Theres the type with a tether to your balls or both ( very much dependent on the length of your perinium )
I’ve never tried the Aneros range but they look light and thin ( designed to move inside you as you clench your muscles )
We have the ribbed plug set although not worked up to the largest yet. Might give the cockring type a try ![]()
Aneros is the best for this to stay in. I’ve tried it during sex but it didn’t do much for me. What sounds interesting is having them on top while a rotating prostate toy is inserted. I’d like to try that. The alternative is to sit up and have them straddle you. The rotating prostate toys have always worked best while sitting on them. Good luck
I just bought an Anerous prostate toy, which has not arrived yet. It comes highly rated. I’ll report back when I get it and have a chance to use it. It will be my first attempt at prostate play.
So I’ve just bought an Aneros Progasm. Tried it yesterday and this morning ( is that 4 points?? ) .
I’ll leave the details for a proper review but yes it stays in when walking round the house though I wouldn’t advise sitting down. I can see it staying in during most forms of sex. It was more secure than any other plug I have though I don’t know whether I’d venture to the shops. I had altogether too much lube in this time so I’m sure an indescrete cough would require a clean-up on aisle three. But because of the more anatomical shape, it does feel like it hugs your innards quite snuggly.
So far .. no prostate orgasm to report. I was somewhat underwhelmed.
EDIT: I can confirm it stays put even when running down the stairs to answer the door to the Amazon delivery guy.
I would advise you buy the silicone Aneros devices like Trident. The silicone versions are much more comfortable. In my opinion, the Progasm is a little big and hard. Aneros is meant to be able to move back and forth over your prostate using only your pelvic floor muscles. Remember to try it without using your hands to pleasure your member. Stay casual and relaxed about it and don’t stress over “the super O” if it happens it happens. Just have fun with it. It’ll be much more pleasurable. And remember to use a long lasting water based lube if using silicone.
Thanks. Yeah I wonder if the Progasm was too much too soon. I’m no stranger to general p-spot play and have quite a few other toys so figured I must at least be considered experienced. But I couldn’t feel much of anything through using my pelvic floor muscles.
I’ve tried the do nothing and see what happens approach, and the slow squeeze and release to try to find a sweet spot to focus on. And I’ve tried just rythmicly squeezing for an hour or so. I had to move it manually before I could feel anything and it wasn’t pleasant as such.
I couldn’t access their Community last time I looked ( Wordpress error ) but thats fixed now so I’ll have a dive into that at some point.
With enjoying the Aneros, my advice is to make it an experience. Next time you’re really horny, prep your bed so that everything is ready, lube, towels, etc.., put some music on, prep and gently clean inside yourself, take a nice bath or shower, dim the lights or candle, insert some safe long lasting lube, lube the Aneros and gently and patiently insert it and lay down on your back. My technique is to put a pillow with a towel on it under my pelvis. Then let yourself completely relax. There’s no rush to achieve or do anything. Let your body get used to having the Aneros inside you. Once you’re relaxed, gently and slowly use your pelvic muscles to move the Aneros over your prostate. This is tricky, but focus on what your prostate is feeling from inside. Play around with different contractions and try to get them around 2/3rds of a full contraction and hold it 10-20 seconds and then gently release. Pause and slowly and gently move the toy back at 2/3rds contraction. Repeat this for at least 45 minutes to an hour and do not touch your member. While you are doing this, you may feel your own body take over with the movements of the Aneros. It’s really cool when this happens. At this time completely and utterly focus on the pleasure you are feeling. Never rush or try to force anything. Just let things happen. If a super O comes it’s just icing on the cake. It should never be the goal. The goal is to understand your body and what it feels like when you’re giving yourself pleasure. Enjoy the pleasure and enjoy the journey. This to me, is the best way to use an Aneros. Also, if the lube gets tacky or things aren’t moving the way they should after a while, it’s ok to add more lube to your Aneros. Try this technique, I’d love to hear how it goes.
Thanks for taking the time.
Sadly AuDHD makes relaxing and clearing my mind things of fantasy.
This morning I tried using it while dozing. I was working through the night so had a lie in and figured I’d be most relaxed while nearly asleep. I got one moment with some automatic contractions and a tingly feeling but only for a second or two. Towel under my hips does work well and seems to be the best position.
But I do wonder if prostate toys are on the whole, too long for my anatomy, unless the Progasm is designed to basically straddle the bladder as well as the prostate. I don’t know but the most intense sensation I feel is just beyond the sphincter. So literally about 2 knuckles in as my Dr told me, and she has small hands. Well all prostate toys are nearly double that, unlike butt plugs that hit exactly the right spot, and small Drs fingers when they’re checking prostate health.
Anyway I might have the house to myself for an hour or so tonight so I’ll see what I can do.
Which one did you buy and how are you getting on with it?
I agree with you that most toys are way too long or the diameter is over sized. It’s frustrating and hard to find ones that aren’t going way past the prostate or are hard to manipulate. And who wants to fiddle around with a long one half way out hoping to get the right spot. I’ve been wanting to buy an Aneros MGX, the original, but only if covered in silicone. The original ones to me are just to hard. Better yet a Eupho diameter at about half the length. That would be fun! I’m happy you got some involuntary contractions. It shows that you’re on the right track. A big key to all of this once you’ve figured out what feels good and how to move it is to be really horny and excited about using the toy. Again, even then, take your time and relax, no rush… simply feel the pleasure. You’ll get the best results this way. Ultimately, though, is to just enjoy yourself without any pressure to achieve something and without any expectations. I’ve read a lot on Aneros and this is repeatedly quoted by the masters of the toy. Have fun!!
