@astroguy , I think everyone is different and I don’t think your experience is at all unusual. I don’t personally own a prostate so don’t have first hand experience but I would say my OH is very similar to you. Very hard for blow jobs, hand jobs, regular sex but rarely more than semi for prostate play alone. As you say, enjoys it and ejaculates though, so I figure, all good. From reading others experiences on other threads over the years I think this is quite normal.
From @Blueyes81 response, obviously, everyone is different. Some women squirt, other’s don’t. Some achieve G-spot orgasms, other’s don’t. Clearly, some men get very erect from prostate play, other’s don’t. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with you though and I don’t see any need to consult a health professional unless you’re experiencing erectile disfunction at other times too.

I never get an erection during any sort of anal play. For me the sensations from my prostate completely take over from any other sensations so I lose an erection if I had one and stay soft if that’s how I started. I can still orgasm when soft though.

Loosing your erection during prostate play is normal and pretty common. I heard recently on a podcast that this may be due to the pelvic floor relaxing during anal penetration. I know for myself during prostate play, I can be very orgasmic but not have a full erection.
I wouldn’t worry about it too much.
As long as you enjoy what you are doing and arnt hurting yourself you’re fine
The loss of erection could be due to many factors, having something shoved up your arse and playing with it might (for now, or during solo) not be what your dick is thinking is enjoying… or many other things

It is normal (at least, it is for me) to not have a full erection during prostate massaging.
