Rabbits and clit ears

Is it just me or are the vibrating bunny ears for your clit on all rabbits in the wrong place? When the shaft is in, the vibrating ears are miles away from my clit (they're too low) - I think they're dimensioned for women of a particular build (and that's not me!)

Rabbits are the hardest toy to get right so it is really trial and error to find a rabbit with the right dimensions. Try looking for a different shaped rabbit, either one with a different β€œear” part or more of a curved shaft. You are definitely not alone.

Yep, totally agree. I thought no rabbits would work for me and I almost gave up with them completely until I tried the desire one, which just happens to fit me perfectly. I'm a big fan of wielding a vaginal toy and a clit toy separately though, kind of a diy rabbit. Always hits the spot better.

We have steered away from rabbits after trying 3 and none of them hit the mark. The main issue for us was that the ears kept losing contact with the clit and my wife loves a blended orgasm. We recently tested out the Happy rabbit thrusting Rabbit. It really did manage to hit the spot for my wife and the ears stayed in direct contact with her clit for the first time. Here's the link and I have written a review too. https://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=38897

Mrs Chimp is a huge fan of the two-toy set up. Though juggling them can be quite tricky solo, depending on which she's picked. I suppose that's what I'm here for. πŸ™‚

We do have a few rabbits as well, and we've either got lucky with our choices or she's a one-size fits all kind of girl (probably the latter). Mrs Chimp's favourite is this Vibe Couture one. It's like a fat g-spot vibrator with a squishy bullet attached. Because it doesn't have the traditional rabbit ears you can get quite a lot of movement without losing your spot. It's also dual layered silicone so is really squashy and tactile. πŸ™‚

(Top Tip: It's discontinued now so the product photos won't show up on my phone, but if I switch to the desktop version I can see the full page, including the pictures πŸ™‚)

I've also steered away from rabbits over the years for this exact reason! I just can't get along with the ears at all. I did have one for my first toy and loved it but something has clearly changed. I much prefer using a vibe/small wand and a dildo now :)

I've always struggled with this too! Though this is actually the first rabbit I've bought that has ever hit the mark https://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=22189

Nice to read about some of the ones that have worked, might have to consider ;)

So judging by the reactions here, I'm definitely not alone - so you'd think that LH would recognise this particular issue, and come up with a model with ears that are longer and at a greater angle away from the main shaft. I've seen some on Aliexpress that MIGHT be the answer, but worried about the quality of materials because of where it has to go.

We've got a few other interesting ones as well as the Vibe Couture one. I think we tend to buy the ones that have something a bit more to them than the bog-standard rabbits. Sometimes it's the shape, but we're also suckers for the unusual extra features. πŸ™‚

This Rhumba one has really lolloping extra long ears as well as beads that shoot up and down the sides. It's also a bit longer and thinner than most.

And we also have a Vibe Couture thrusting one that looks similar to the happy rabbit one K&c30's mentioned earlier.

Sadly both discontinued but, as I mentioned before, if you switch to the desktop version in your mobile browser settings you can see the photos.

I'm looking forward the reading the reviews of the new heated ones when they start rolling in. πŸ™‚

Oh gutted! :(

You and Mrs Chimp might have a lot to answer for from my bank at some point if those come in! I did see one of the heated ones in someones wishlist game post!

It was mine. πŸ™‚

I also have trouble withπŸ‡rabbits, I do wish they could suit me! They're either too long, too wide for comfortable insertion or the ears make my clit very sore!! I tried a slimline one before I got into Lovehoney and it's baby ears still made me sore. I do find them quite invasive when inserted in me. As Mr Chimp says, I have tried one of the 'vibe courture' range - 'Duo Rhapsody'. The silicone feel is great and targets the g-spot, but generally find these types of vibrators quite intimidating (not very used to using them!) I lather them up with lube (and myself). I need more practice and to become more relaxed and comfortable using them. They're always in 'deal of the day' aswell - shame. Please can anyone advise and help me, sometimes it's painful to use them due to the length! I'd love to become more accustomed with my toy!! Thanks so much πŸ˜•, "damsel in distress!!" x.

The good thing about the two-toy set up is that you can tailor both the internal and clit vibes just to your liking. If you don't like a big internal vibe then you can use something like the Perfect Curve (battery powered, quite bazzy, but also very diddy) or the mantric g-spot vibe (bigger than the Curve but still smaller than most rabbits, rechargeable, has also got a bit of rumble on some settings). Then you can choose your preferred clit stimulation, whether it's fingers, precision or broad-head (Mrs Chimp likes the mini wand, and the VeDo Luv is also having a bit of a heyday at the moment). Having them separate also means they're more maneuverable, so you can angle them just right depending on your personal anatomy.

What we really need is a 'Build-a-Vibe Workshop' πŸ™‚

Hmm, I think I've been lucky with rabbits so far. I have 4 of them and I find them all satisfying in one way or another. Even the one that doesn't "fit" me properly is one of my go-to toys, haha.

But yes, this is a common issue with rabbit vibrators because eveyone is different. ![](upload://f8zGclFeQx35HwZLqJ7J1rFzQ0n.gif)

It definitely depends on the rabbit. I often find these types of vibrators frustrating as I like continuous clitoral stimulation, so sliding it in & out moves the bunny ears! Frustrating! With the right function on the main shaft I find I can leave the vibrator in & enjoy the functions of the ears. We are all made differently, so definitely one size does not fit all!!

I've given up finding a rabbit that suits my anatomy. I've tried 7 of them and I also have problems with the ears as I can never fit them properly on my clit. It's so frustrating because as a girl who orgasms only through clitoral stimulation, the shaft is there mainly for addin that feeling of penetration as the vibration or thrusting features do absolutely nothing for me without the ears working.

Even when I seemed to have found the one - which as the FSOG Greedy Girl - that wasn't the case as when I move the damn ears lose contact with he clitoris, so nothing happens. I'd say that I'm happy to use a bullet or a clit vibe combined with a metal or glass dildo to give wonderful orgasms, but it'd be nice to have just one toy to do that specially for me who use them on a solo basis, so extra work for myself.

Thanks 'Mr Chimp' for all the product links! Will defo have a look into them, once again really helpful advice from u. Cheers. πŸ˜‡

And 'Lu SB' thanks for u comments, I have exactly the same issues. I mainly orgasm just through clitoral stimulation and totally understand what u said regarding the main shaft "just being in there for the penetration feeling". I would love to find something one day, that can do both areas simultaneously!! Will look at what Mr Chimp has suggested, with hopes of success. I also have a mini-wand to test on my clit when something smaller is inside me! I will keep persevering with my 'Vibe Courture', but wonder if it's possible (for someone like me, who struggles!) to internally orgasm by having it 'thrusted in' a bit more gently. I think having in done too hard, is putting me off a bit mentally and physically (soreness!) 😯 Cheers everyone!

@Emerald269

That Vibe Couture one does have quite a bulbous shaft so it doesn't lend itself to proper thrusting as easy as some others. Mrs Chimp loves to get it in and positioned just right on her clit and then she'll gently pull it in and out just a little so the base of the shaft rubs against her as she also grinds against it. That way she can keep contact with the bullet 'ears' (very important πŸ™‚) as well as getting some nice stimulation around the opening and on her g-spot. You can also add a little circular motion too to vary the pressure on your clitoris.

I hope you have more luck with it in the future. πŸ™‚
