It’s been so long since we’ve been able to have such a day. If we were at home, waking up to a rainy day and no kids or houseguests around to deal with it might look like:
- lazy, slow waking up to find each other under the sheets. Roll wifey onto her belly and sneak in for morning quicky.
- Off together for a run in the rain and/or a round of hot yoga together.
- Grab some pastries and come home for breakfast, or out to a cozy brunch spot together.
- Home, shower, crawl into bed for a relaxed romp together. We’re heading out in the new van she’s got, down to the coast…! Not the best weather for it, but it’s the only chance to do a trial run in it for weeks.
Fooling around outside in the rain is fun, but for warmth we’ll go inside to continue… test the suspension as well!

Probably a slow morning, coffee and catch up on some tv shows maybe a film and then an early lunch, then start a game of monogamy with some alcahol and food. Leave enough time to clean up and shower before some snacks before bed.
