To make it worse he got himself sectioned rather than pay. I have every sympathy when it comes to mental health but he was in 10 days then made a miraculous recovery.

And to add insult to injury my prescription want in the chemist yesterday so I’ve been in withdrawals for over 24 hours and it still ay there. I blame the drs for getting me addicted to pills 10 years ago instead of alternative treatment

I don’t know which drug(s) you’re reliant on, but it’s possible this may be a significant factor in your loss of sex drive. Long-term use of opiates, for example, can suppress libido, but so can many other drugs.

They are diazepam and tamazepam, Dr thought it’d be a good idea to put me on them when I was 18 for anxiety, now they’re not dishing them out so frequently as they used to now thankfully, shame I warnt born 10 years later 
It could be the long-term use of them though, I’d not thought about that before but it could well be the pills, cheers for the heads up. I’m thinking about speaking to the dr about it as I want to get pregnant n it ay gonna happen at this rate 
Think I’ll try investing in some new toys, lingerie, erotica n porn first though xx

Diazepam can definitely have that effect, I have that too. Though i have no idea why they prescribed it so much, it’s now kinda used more like a last resort/as something on top of different regular medication

How long were you on them before they had an impact? Cos for the first 7 years my sex-drive was still through the roof then me confidence was lost n now it’s been back for awhile but my drives not at all which is gutting, I feel so guilty for it as hubs is convinced it’s cos he’s put weight on but by no means is that the case, I fancy him more than the day we met n love him more each day. I wish he knew that though, problem is he’s lost his confidence since putting the weight on

It was after a few years on them that they had the effect on me too, they seem to have a delayed affect on sex drive

@MsSubExperimenter Hermes have been okay where we live now but when I lived with my parents we just didn’t order from anyone who used them in the end because never once managed to deliver a package! You could get a phone number sent to Hermes from people we ordered from but they NEVER passed it on to the individual drivers and it seemed without a phone contact none of them could find my parent’s house.
Thankfully Lovehoney always used Royal Mail and no problems there

As for Hermes they’re abysmal around here too or they used to be they’ve actually improved now if you’re in or if it’s hubs uncle doing the delivery, if you’re out ya screwed they’ll leave it on the front step or some put parcels in the bin WTF is that about? If they deliver at all that is, only problems these days is when nobody is home so we tend to always make sure one of us is home when expecting Hermes deliveries!

@SteelA1 aww mate I feel your frustration mate honest I do many people think it’s ok to take the piss it’s not on mate. Who the fook would do it in any walk of life other than the building trade I had so many examples where this was done to me from putting in footings for a mate he lost the job but I did my bit he couldn’t see that was what he employed me to do I did my bit the fact he lost the job had nowt do with me he paid up I made sure he did, it’d wrong mate just wrong sorry mate

Thanks to everyone who commented! Had a friends Mrs who works for a solicitors send a letter to said client via recorded delivery stating the obvious and how they’d be liable to incur additional costs blah blah blah! Had an email from the client about 30 mins ago saying there must of been some crossed wires somewhere as they had no intention of not paying and that payment will be in my account by 7pm today 
I’ll be checking my bank at 7 but I’m so made up I’ve payed everyone else who did work there so to get the all of it back will be a seriously good feeling as it’s all mine

@Mrs.John that’s awful! Fancy doing something like that just to get out of paying! It’s enough to force the tradesmen into depression and end up being sectioned! I know a few people who’s been in business a long long time and have gone under from 1 none payer! People don’t understand the impact and just how many peoples lives it can effect!

@SteelA1 fantastic news mate a beer for your solicitor mate I think nice result mate so glad nowt worse then being let down by a client I am a bit eager to pay for work simply because I know sometimes between jobs it’s difficult sometimes

@Gazza_64 generally I make sure people are payed before they leave my house or site they’re on! I don’t like chasing for money so don’t expect anyone else to have to!

@steve19 top man I know what you mean I pay my expenses out to go to work for my company then don’t get them paid by my md for a spelling mistake on them sometimes it £1300 a month which really hacks me off I feel embarrassed to ask him to pay it, but then when I tell him to book the rooms pay for food etc he changes his mind ! So glad you got it sorted mate seriously

@Gazza_64 bern in youre shoes myself! Part the reason i went on my own! Shouldnt feel embarrassed asking for £10 if it’s owed to you but it’s the way they make you feel! The fact that it makes you feel embarrassed kind of shows what kind of person you are and shows you have integrity
