I dunno if I’m over reacting but been doing a online course and the study group is on Fb. We were asked to submit our homework this week and there is only 10 of us.
Submitted mine, teacher reacted/replied to everyone else’s besides mine. I couldn’t help but feel either ignored or they just couldn’t be bothered 
I tagged the teacher asking if mine was ok as they responded to everyone else besides mine. No doubt I’ll get a bs excuse of “oh I didn’t see it” even they responded to one directly under mine

Why do parents buy electric scooters for their children/teens when they are illegal to ride in public spaces?? We have a teen in our road who causes a lot of antisocial behaviour and is known by the police. Since Christmas, we now see and hear him whizzing by our house, up and down the road almost every night. His friend also has an illegal electric bike (no pedal assistance), who tailgated our car when my husband was driving home through our town

Had a couple of narrow misses on the road with young lads on scooters. What makes it worse is that there was a young lad killed when he hit a car on one with his girlfriend locally, it’s as if the parents don’t see or read the local news, or just don’t care. Seen a few parents moaning on local Facebook groups that the police confiscated their little angel’s scooter, as if it was the police in the wrong. I would hate to have the death of a child on my conscience wether it was my fault or not.

That’s horrific. My husband thinks that parents don’t realise they are illegal and it doesn’t help that private hire scooters are legal. Our nearest city has them and they are so dangerous for pedestrians.

i asked the same question earlier last week, why are they illegal when the ones for hire in cities are legal? They are the same, are they insured in some way? I don’t know. I do know all can be dangerous to pedestrians.

@steve19 & @Saffron18 City e-scooters are insured which is arranged by the rental operator that’s the difference.
If they made it law for private e-scooter owners to have insurance I wonder how many would actually abide given it would be virtually impossible to police and as especially the majority of teens riding round on them seem to be of an antisocial nature and I bet a fair few of them are possibly riding on stolen scooters anyway. Just my thoughts before anyone tries to sue me for slander

We had a similar incident just before Christmas. A kid about 16 came whizzing down on his on a public foot path and nearly crashed into our German Shepherd.
Naturally dog reacted and whipped round. Told kid off and said if he got bit would have been his own fault and all we got back was abuse.
Like you said some parents don’t care. And some kids now have awful attitudes.

@FireCracker89 we see the stupid kids riding around not looking where they’re going, a few weeks ago a young idiot nearly crashed into my OH, she told him to watch where he was going and all she got back was abuse, there’s no respect nowadays from them, God knows what the next generation of morons will be like.

Had a photo session tonight and I tried on a pair of star nipple covers which looked great. They were pretty sticky, but I didn’t think much of it. Just assumed they had a decent hold. After every thing was done, I removed them only to be left with thick, sticky residue all over my nipples! Like someone has wiped their nose on my tits Ick! Took a while to get it off. Serves me right for buying the cheap stuff, haha. (Not from LH)

I think it’s the ‘royal we’ for example I always say to my wife we did chores around the house when actually I’ve been sitting on my ass playing PlayStation

Except that the family did absolutely nothing…except supply the wi-fi. Sorry, just annoys me. And the Bacon says ‘I know, right’…he knows nothing!!!

Inexcusable when a teacher ignores you. Too many teachers know their subject but are inadequate in their interpersonal skills. My partner taught college for 17 years. His students loved him and would come to him for advice. He kept up on teaching techniques such as POET courses.
I hope your teacher does better in future.
In my experience with uni there were a few very separate types of lecturers. There were some who obviously didn’t want to be there, some who obviously loved their subject and were trying but just not the best at teaching it and lecturers who enjoyed teaching and were good at it.
Unfortunately in my experience the 1st was the most common, though closely followed by the 2nd (it was actually interesting watching 1 lecturer. He was normally so monotone but was obviously trying really hard but when we got onto 1 specific topic he became so much mire animated and it was immediately apparent what his favourite subject was). I’ve even had a few that were just mean/awful in general, supervisors making students cry, supervisors gossiping/bad talking the students behind their backs, being rude about how students are prioritising time (ie not starting a piece non-assessed work with weeks left when there was still assessed work due) and finally just being awful about instructions and disability adjustments.
There’s such a massive range of experiences and it’s sad how much a bad lecturer can ruin a subject for you sometimes.

I had a similar experience a couple of months ago @Goth_Girl, I had a mug delivered from Amazon, when the postman handed it to me the box rattled, I opened it indoors and it was smashed to bits, no protective packaging, I had a right moan and they gave me a replacement.
