Naturally, I prefer strokers that have just a generic opening. It would be nice to see a healthy mix of both 'realistic' and 'non-realistic' - I think it probably leans more towards the 'realistic' side of things here - but that I would assume is based on the fact that they are probably more popular.
Would I ever use a realistic one? Honestly? No - I really don't think I could. I know it's not 'real' but it's a mindset thing for me.

I think it's difficult to judge the look of the thing with the main brain when it's really only the secondary one's opinion that matters, and it only pays attention at certain times.

We have quite a variety of male toys. Our first experience of them was together as a couple. I thought I'd get jealous of the realistic ones (whether they looked or felt real) so we went for the friendly, unintimidating ones like Tenga eggs and strokers first, from the cheaper ones to the more expensive e.g. the Tenga 3D range. We enjoyed them a lot, and still do, but it made me realise I couldn't ever actually be jealous of a fake vagina. So we ventured into realistic ones. We went for fleshlight and, thanks to yourself, even went as far as a sex doll. We have fleshlights in all three orifices (ass, pussy and mouth) now and honestly they are my favourites both to use on him and have him use on himself! So for me, the ones with an orifice on them are the best. They are a visual treat for everyone involved. Things like tenga eggs etc are still good for those times where you just want something a little more than your hand with no fuss. But once you've had (or been allowed to have) a realistic one they just don't really compare. Especially when you can use them to fulfil fantasy, e.g. two mouths one cock, anal sex, threesomes without another real person etc etc. The only thing I prefer about the non realistic toys is that the material tends to be more 'safe' and non porous, which is something I do worry about.

I'd say non realistic ... haven't tried the realistic ones to be fair so maybe one day but no immediate plans to buy one. Eggs are good but potentially expensive if you actually take notice of the one time use non-sense.
Not so keen on the realistic ones, there's something a bit odd and off-putting about them. I have a couple of plain old strokers at home and they're perfect for the job in hand, as it were.
Hi Cazz. I have tried quite a few different types of sleeves, realistic vaginas and fleshlights. My preference is the realistic types with fleshlights being my go to toy. I wouldn't say textured ones really make a difference to me. My first ever one I bought was an original fleshlight and it was worth every penny. I have tried the cheaper sleeves, onacups and eggs but now I would only ever purchase a fleshlight. I personally don't think their is anything better. Unless I suppose it's the expensive rends range which I don't think I would ever purchase because I can't possibly see how they could be better than the fleshlight.

Mr Nurse and I have talked about this before, and as I recall, I was seriously put off him having a realistic one because he already has my real one (jealousy issues!!!). We have just had a look at the links and have the answers to your questions:

I've owned a Maria Osawa and still own a downwards and a Zhang Xiao Yu of which the latter is still the best I've ever used, so I'm a big fan of these. They are hard to clean and susceptible to tearing but that doesn't come close to putting me off and other highly rated toys like Tengas can't match them.

Appreciated this is a female opinion and probably doesn't count, but i don't think i would ever be comfortable with my partner using a realistic looking fleshlight, where i wouldn't have any issue with another type of stroker.
