Trying to figure out, as a man, how I would answer this question as all posts (per the rules) should be as inclusive as possible for response and conversation. Your topic could just be retitled “Cunnilingus Comfort Questions” as it wouldn’t exclude anyone and clearly states what you’re getting at (i.e., you can ask a question that explicitly about cunnilingus, not fellatio, you’re just not supposed to ask in a way that feels like only women can answer).
On the other hand it feels really mansplaining for me to be the first one and try to answer on my wife’s behalf about comfort and preferences.

The first time I went down on my (now) wife was a complete accident. We were making out, led to kissing down her neck, then her breasts, then I was compelled to kiss my way down her belly. Receiving ( I’m male ) - I prefer lying down. I can just relax into it and let my body do what ever it wants. Standing up is too awkward. I’ve got to concentrate too much on remaining standing.
