As the title suggests we’re looking for a small but powerful and rumbly rechargeable bullet. My wife can’t be doing with buzzy high frequency vibes and I don’t want to mess around with batteries.

Tango or Mantric.
The Mantric is an absolute steal when on offer as it can almost match the Tango with both frequency and power but also has a nice silicone coat (stops it slipping out of my arthritic hand). I keep my Tango as a never-fail if my clit is being difficult but nine times out of ten the Mantric will do the job as fast as my Tango can.
The Desire is extremely powerful but I can’t get on with the frequency. If you like patterns, though, this has a LOT. It also has a cute storage bag (that I wish Lovehoney would sell separately).
ETA: I have my eye on the Tango X (upgraded version) as it’s supposed to be even more powerful and has a nice silicone handle.

Another recommend for the desire one here. Its the most powerful ive tried and really rumbly. If you want something small but powerful, mini classic vibrators are also worth a look. Some of those can be pretty powerful.
Seconding the comment on mini classics, my mini desire has become my go to. The mantric is fairly good too and the tango i have as well (though it’s the older one they no longer sell) but i still prefer the mini usually (i also find it easier to grip and adjust)
The desire bullet is very powerful, and very rumbly.
Only 3 speeds, but 17 useless to us patterns… though you might find them good for your wife.
Unfortunately the Mini Classics are battery powered. That’s what we had before and they’re good but eventually the lid fails to connect electrically with the base and they stop working.
Another vote for the Mantric Bullet. Definitely my top rated small bullet, deep and rumbly 
I have the desire one (rechargable) not as powerful as the desire bullet, but still a really good vibe (i find the larger size makes up for it for me personally).
Ive heard good things about rocks off’s one (i forget what is called, something unspellable.) thats also rechargable. I have their new A-spot rabbit and whatever new motors theyr using are really good. (Frequency is slightly wrong for my clit sadly, or id have bought their mini classic too)
I would highly recommend the We-vibe tango bullet vibrator! It’s defo one of my favourites in the toy box

I have a couple of mantric toys, and the Tracey Cox squishy bullet, which I believe you have too.
I reckon the motor is the same in both? ie: same toy, different silicon exterior, and very different results.
I think the speeds are the same, the patterns are the same… it’d be interesting to see what you think.

I’ve just sat and tried them alongside each other and they are very different. The Mantric vibrations are slower but more powerful and the patterns are different too. Perhaps we’re talking about different Tracey Cox bullets?

I’ll chuck in a side-by-side.
Their product names are pretty samey. I think the squishy ones were called ‘Soft-feel’ at some point? There’s definitely a gap for some good names for them.

In any case, even if they were the same motors inside, the very significant outer layers would still justify owning both. The squishy/soft touch silicone really is lovely and transfers vibrations very differently.
