Tell us a tale…
Have you ever worked in retail?
What happens if a guy comes into a female shop and wants to buy/try? Do you train you? Is there policies? Or is it taboo?

Training for my current job I had a day on a till, a middle aged lady dropped a basket of food for me to scan plus a bra with humongous cups, she apologised! I just said not to worry, i’d seen a bra before!
Fortunately i am backstage 95% of the time!
Don’t think there specific training, just generalised customer service in primarni.
Years ago, I used to work in a charity shop. I think it might have been uncomfortable but to be honest, we were too small (and too outnumbered) to kick up a fuss.
Look, there was always cream cakes to go with our cup of tea at break time. What do you think we were more worried about?
Helped out in a charity shop with changing rooms…no training whatsoever just the usual…shoplifters…how to use the till basically….helping out in “the back” was fun…another story that one.
Had regular blokes come in and try on the “women’s” clothing and I would give them advice and even suggest some items for them to try. It was nice as a few said they looked to see if I was in as they felt less intimated…
Measured one bloke up to help him with sizing…he was well pleased. Brought him to tears and got a hug and flowers the next time he came in. Said knowing what suited his body shape and me helping him changed his life and he was now more confident in his preferred clothing.
Totally random story but when I was younger my mum and me was waiting for my dad in town to finish work and we saw this old lady in a skirt walking down the high street when all a sudden her knickers dropped down!!
The most funny part was seeing her gracefully step out of them, stuff into her handbag and carried on toddling
Hi @Natalie. l can’t comment from my working experience as never served in a shop selling lingerie etc but my experience at a local lingerie shop as a customer shows that the training for their assistance is fantastic. Here’s my recollections of my first buying visit from a post back in December’23:
I can say that each time I visit the store she is fantastic, when she sees me she smiles, comes over to me and basically takes me around the store looking for briefs that she thinks I would like. In a nutshell she is fantastic, tells me that she really enjoys helping males with lingerie, and thinks more men should embrace their feminine side and wear lingerie.
That’s the sum of my experiences

@CurvyJilly your anecdote is both heart-warming and a joy to read. You are a wonderful person.
I only wear briefs intended for females but still knowing that there are those ‘out there in the world’ that see nothing wrong in kinks & cross-dressing, and go out of there way to help is wonderful to read.
She’s a gem!
