If you're going to do this, be tasteful and respectful! Indecent exposure can have you arrested, so pick a place that's outside, but out of view of others. Still have the risk factor, but don't get caught or end up offending somebody. :)
As a mother please don't do this near my children. I am NOT a prude but I had to explain something to my daughter yesterday I wish I had not had to because of a coupel thinking or not caring we saw them doing something similar at the mall.

I would agree, be discreet, wear a coat or similar, something you can cover with instantly. Position yourselves in such a way that the photographer can warn the model if anyone is coming.. You don't want to be caught by a policeman!
During the weekend a lot of industrial areas are abdandoned and might be a good idea. Definitely no kids around there. In most countries being anywhere parks or schools is an instant charge of sex offence.

Anyway, as others have said, there is the trill of doing this in public, but you must make sure that you are not actually seen.
Each country has it's own etiquette and as well as laws.
To avoid this issue, you could always choose a nudist beach, where you will also have the benefit of people taking photos of you from hidden locations and posting them on the Internet for you.
