You don't need to go for outfits for role play.
My wife and I come up with ideas together a couple of our favourites are;
To go out for a meal with my wife pretending to be my secretary complete with appropriate underwear.we then start flirting in the restaurant seeing if we can get a reaction from others in the restaurant as we get more outrageous. As we leave she will say in a load voice that she must get home to her husband by the time we get home we are both as horny as hell.
I dress up in my best suit and go out only to return to the house a few minutes later as a salesman. I knock on the door and my wife opens it dressed in her seductive housewife gear. She tells me that her husband is due back in a hour. We strip the clothes off eachother and have wild sex in the lounge. Afterwards quickly get dressed and leave.
On my return 15 minutes later we both act like nothing has happened.
The situations are endless, it has got more difficult now that the children are older but we still role play occasionally.

My OH and I like to play dress up but we don’t role play in the uniforms/outfits. We do school girl, nurse, maid and just nice lingerie. I want us to actually try role play and progress from just the clothing to the game e.g. school girl/teacher taking detention and so on…. Sounds fun but my OH isn’t confident enough to ‘act the role’ unfortunately.

Never tried it, but if we put a modicum of effort into date night, this sounds a fantastic way of building up a bit of heat and anticipation (files this idea away for future reference).
