As an intro… I do like cross dressing but its completely private and its rare I have the time to do so but I have a question for the room.
Has anyone used, or would anyone consider using, second hand online shops such as Vinted or eBay to purchase second hand clothes for the sole purpose of cross dressing?
Please don’t get me wrong, I wouldn’t want to buy any “dirty” or “worn” items. These would be clothes that are clean, such as dresses, skirts & tops etc.
I wonder if it’s a market that hasn’t been explored as it makes more sense to me to purchase things online like that rather than go in to high street shops etc.
Would love to hear if anyone does this or would think about doing it
If it works for you then I don’t see no harm in it and helps with reviving unwanted clothes that would otherwise end up in landfill or washed up on a beach!
Whilst I’ve complete for the moment my LH lingerie collection there been a couple items I’ve missed out on size wise which I’ve bought from Vinted with the tags still on
I think that’s a great idea. I too having been wondering about going the whole way and buying my own outer women’s clothes but not sure if I should ( OH not keen on my undercrossing) but then it occured to me that there are so many charity shops around now selling quality clothing at very reasonable prices maybe this would be a good starting point?
@WB1987
I’ve browsed charity shops looking for a dress for when I cam
I’ve thought about shoes too but my main kink with shoes is using them as a masturbation prop and I wouldn’t be happy using second hand shoes coming into contact with my dick, I’m not some sort of pervert lol
Also not sure about lingerie though my last set cost me £100 plus so it would make sense
I use second hand sites all the time for shoes, clothes and lingerie - I wouldn’t buy second hand knickers. It’s less embarrassing online, much cheaper for quality (you can always buy fast fashion cheap whether new or used) and easier to find what you’re looking for, especially since my taste is I suspect not what most women wear/want to look like; back to the psychology thread there!
@Babs22 If you feel good in your choice of clothes then they are perfect regardless of what others think, regardless of gender. You are in your happy place and there’s much to be admired and inspired by your clothing journey, of which many of us males wished we could say the same instead of having to stay hidden in our closet.
When inwas young and a virgin, didn’t have much luck with women. I had an xdressing phase. I bought some used lingerie from ebay. As they were quality and cheap. The brand new cheap stuff was poor quality.
I got my first smell of a woman from the lingerie. They were washed. But the detergent smell fades but the woman smell does not.
There is probably no risk of stds from used lingerie. If it’s washed everything is going to be dead. But peoppe have taboo about it.
I messaged her on ebay before buying, explained I’m a guy who likes to occasionally xdress. Was she ok with me buying. She was fine, she doesn’t care who buys it as long as its paid for.
I have a lovely collection of dresses and skirts bought from a couple of charity shops with no hassle returns. In fact one shop i use i know the woman who works there and she will save dresses in my size that she thinks i will like.I wish i had the courage to wear them out occasionally rather than just in the house as they make me feel a million dollars when wearing them.
A really nice & encouraging story @HappyInPanties of someone who’s empathic to your needs without judgement.
I too have a really great sales person I’ve got to know & trust in a leading brand lingerie shop here in my home town. They really know what I liked and she always goes out of her way to accept, encourage and help me on my journey into under(wear)dressing. I visited earlier in the week as I had a gift card needing to be spent and enjoyed a very happy hour of browsing, chatting and then buying, then she dropped the bombshell that she has resigned and she will leave the shop next week . I told her again how wonderful she had been & thanked her for all of her help & encouragement, wishing her every success in her new employment. Inside I was happy for her but gutted. That’s Life.
Hopefully she may have a friend or someone else there she can have a quit word with to continue helping you with your purchases of these lovely items.Good Luck.
I tend to scour charity shops for ladies shoes. You can get very good brands barely used at very reasonable prices. Ladies size 9 is not common so when I find a pair I like I tend to grab them. I have no problem with trying them on in the shop.
Yes,me too.I also speak to sales assistants in these shops and apparently they do appear a bit more regularly than we imagine but there are a lot more men after them than what we think and once in the window they are sold the same day.Anyways happy hunting,us gurls simply can’t have enough shoes.
@rockstar I’m thinking about getting some shoes from a charity shop next time I have a weekend home alone so I can pose for some selfies in my lingerie
I just know though that I’m gonna be tempted to include them in my on line masturbation sessions and I really wouldn’t want to be rubbing my cock around someone’s old shoes!
Interesting topic My cross dressing had always been second hand freshly worn clothes as that is my kink, but I would have to have some kind of a connection with that person. I wouldn’t have a problem buying second hand if it was just to wear the clothing without the kink side.
