Don’t forget the music. Am also qualified in massage (Swedish and Thai, Indian head massage) and find the biggest factor to relaxation prior to massage is aural. Also heat the room to comfortable level for client/receiver. Subdued lighting but not enough to put the receiver to sleep (plus many people are more comfortable in subdued lighting due to body issues).

out of interest which scents do you find are the most popular and which are the most effective?
Is this sensual massage for a client or partner. My partner enjoys being completely covered by a towel/s before massage and then having it slowly pulled away so it slides down her body slowly revealing her nakedness (not one for a client :rofl:) In a heated room using spray bottle for oil instead of pour bottle gives a nice sensation too.

Over the years with different partners I found some good research into what they like currently is critical . Most like it fairly warm and pre warming the oils if used . Most like a fairly lite fuzzy covering ( warmed before use ) . Everybody has a scent they like , but go easy ! Subdued lighting a must and I found a light blue accent always helped . Some like music , but many liked my sound machine with surf sounds or other nature sounds . Most preferred I wore something they considered sexy , be it a thong , bikini or silky boxers . The hardest thing for me is a super lite touch . I also found some really liked a super lite touch where you are really almost hovering the skin . I have never given a message where the female did not like some real massage on her neck , shoulders and back . Then once relaxed stand on one side and gently sliding a hand down each side down to hips . Also a leg at a time from ankle up to her playground . And what sexy massage would be finished without some lite kissing all over her favorite places ?
