Hey Dittie, I’ve been sent a few to review on behalf of competitive brands and personally I don’t rate them. To answer your questions:
Are they heavy?
Yes, very. One of the torso dolls I got sent to review weighed 27kgs, or almost 4 stone - about the same weight as a fully-grown Labrador!
Easy to clean?
I’d love to say yes, but they fall behind here too. Some have removeable vaginas which makes for easier cleaning but TPE dolls pick up lint even better than a carpet sweeper. The ones that don’t have removeable vaginas you have to bath, and regardless, you have to wash them with soap and water, dry them (including inside, usually with an absorbent stick, and you have to replace those every so often) and then dust the whole thing in renewal powder. Sex dolls aren’t just a means to an end, they’re a commitment.
How do you store them?
Some come with a storage bag, others you have to buy it seperately. Regardless, you’ll need to find space for something about the size of a large suitcase when not in use.
What do you like best about them?
TPE looks surprisingly realistic, and the level of detail is amazing. Both of our torso does were female, and they were arousing even for me! They feel quite lifelike too, and I thoroughly enjoyed spanking them and seeing their asses wobble. I tend to be more Dominant with other women and femme people, so that was very sexy for me.
Also, the textures in the tunnels. Even just on your fingers, it’s stimulating and very sexy indeed.
Any problems with them?
Other than the weight? Actually a few that I can recall. First of all, in line with the weight, they don’t have muscles or cordination, so you’re doing all of that moving yourself. You can’t tell them to “get onto your front” or whatever - you have to put them there. TPE doesn’t move like flesh either; it wobbles and “pours” over your limbs more like ballistic gel. To say it can be a struggle to move would be an understatement.
Secondly, some have metal skeletons that are supposed to be poseable, except I seriously struggled with one of them and I’m not a small girl. Even when I managed to make it move, feeling its hip click made me feel like I’d just dislocated its limbs before some sapphic sex - kind of a passion killer.
Finally, let’s talk about the temperature. TPE dolls feel cold to the touch and, if you’ve ever touched or held the hand of someone who has passed on, then they do feel immediately and uncomfortably… dead. You can get tunnel heaters for them, sure, but even then, the rest of the torso doll doesn’t feel warm. My husband certainly found the lack of body heat from these dolls rather unsettling.
I don’t want to put you off, but I do want you to be advised and aware. Your mileage may vary of course, they just weren’t for us
