Hi guys, I did a quick search and there want much recent.

I’ve been thinking about visiting a sex dungeon/bdsm playroom with my wife. Not a club but just some where we can go just the two of us to use the facilities and maybe stay over.

Does anyone have any experience of this and any recommendations.

We are in Essex so wondered if anyone had any recommendations. We don’t mind travelling a few hours. I have googled but thought it would be good to hear about people’s experiences and recommendations and if there’s any tips for what to look for or avoid.

One thing I suggest avoiding with rental dungeons is ones where you have to meet the owners, and get given a tour. It can make things really awkward and I found, in my case, spoils the experience. That being said if you’re not bothered by meeting the owners and being given a tour then go ahead!

One of the best dungeons I’ve ever been to is “Boutique x Dungeon” in Brighton, it’s a whole house that has been turned into a dungeon. It’s got all the essentials, loads of toys, a cage, a swing and mirrors for days. They also just leave the key for you so you don’t have to bump into anyone. It’s quite a good price too.

I’ve heard that “the secret dungeon” in High Wycombe is also amazing, they’ve got loads of different kinky things for you to try and a hottub! The only issue is that it’s a little pricey and often fully booked. But out of all the dungeons I’ve seen I’d say this seems to be the most equipped (;

I’ve tried the boutique dungeon in Brighton and we loved it as a first go at these venues however we’re waiting for the chance to go somewhere more serious like the secret dungeon.

There is also ess and emm which is Oxford way and has the best equipment I’ve seen in a rental dungeon.

I’m also in Essex and the Essex dungeon is in maldon and also looks great and can’t wait to give it a try.

Maybe a sexy hotel place might be available that has different themed rooms!
Not sure if that’s just an American type thing though :sweat_smile:

Theres one in gatwick that looks amazing. Its called the gatwick dungeon

Sadly, Ess and Emm is now closed, but you could try the Fetish Studio in Reading, very discreet and secluded in its own garden - great for outdoor play! I was interested to see the comment about ‘Don’t meet the owners of a dungeon’ by one person - my partner and I met the owner of this dungeon and had the tour, which was great and gave us lots of insight into the equipment (its really well equipped with loads of toys - we were like kids in a sweet shop!) But if you really don’t want contact, they also do a virtual tour and contactless access, all you have to do is request it. Highly recommended!

I’m sad to hear Ess and Emm have gone, I remember them being quite the hot topic when I started out almost twenty years ago. Any idea what happened?

I looked last year, but didn’t end up booking any, but the High Wycombe looked thr best as I remember.

Samantha here. Yes we went to the one in high Wycombe. It was so much fun. Its a 4hr drive from us. Then a few weeks after we had been, we realised there was one 30 mins from us. Doh

We’ve been to the one in High Wycombe 3 times, it’s amazing !! In fact we’re going again next week. Pretty expensive but a lot of fun :blush:
