We got a sex machine a few years ago, I thought I was going to love it as I use my wand vibrator very regularly and it feels amazing, but the sex machine (vibrating type) just did not do it for me. I really wanted to make it work as it would be very useful when my hubby travels but we gave up on it and returned it. I don’t know if the the vibrations were just not right or I couldn’t get the right position and I would certainly give it another go if I could figure it out.

I don’t know if you continue to follow the post, but if you do, then I wonder if you managed to select and purchase said machine?
If you have, then you could let us know, and even perhaps provide some helpful experience/feedback, but of course only if, you and yours are comfortable in doing so.
I ask, as I have been atop this particular fence for somewhile. I have seen machines, so cheap that they are almost irresistible, and others so expensive that a new mortgage might be required. The choice really is enormous, with those that have two thrusters one end and another one or two at the other end (for the experienced/group users perhaps), and simple devices that rely on a single suction cup that a) lack thrust, power and ability to stay put (yep tried one of those, and hence the extra caution keeping me atop the fence!).
There is a lot of helpful and experienced member advice provided above (I should had looked here earlier), which helps with the decision making, but there are clearly some fundamentals to keep in mind including;
-
Available budget (avoid the cheap and likely disappointing experience)
-
Noise (fortunately not an issue for me)
-
Stability (e.g. suction cups at each corner, total weight, more permanent fix options, etc)
-
Portability should you wish to often relocate
-
Attachments, extenders, convertors
And I’m sure several more, but there is one feature that I consider quite important – stroke length, as some machines only offer a couple of inches, and others a good six inches (15cm). Typically, the short stroke machines are cheaper, and the longer stroke machines being the more expensive, but I would much rather have the longer stroke, which usually can be adjusted (shortened if wished), as that would likely prove the most rewarding. I will continue to look.
If you do now have your own machine, I hope it is all that you wished for, and if still considering – then good luck.
I have one of the premium machines of a popular brand available online and use it regularly for anal masturbation and prostate stimulation. It’s been a great purchase as it lets me enjoy hand free play and explore new ways to enjoy masturbation and has helped me learn how to stimulate myself to have multiple prostate orgasms. Lots of fun.
I use one all the time. Mine is a dildo machine. They can peg you at different speeds. You can also change the dildo to whatever size or girth you want.
@Cumalot82 & @twells2272 I believe you can also get Fleshlights for these machines too. Do these have any appeal?
@MrsT I’m definately aware of the fleshlight and masturbation cup attachments but have not yet tried them.
No thank you! I already have a couple of those
@MrsT Just out of curiosity, have you tried any attachments that provide double penetration at all? I would have to think that would be alot of fun and give some intense stimulation.
@Cumalot82 It has caught my interest enough to save off in a basket but not bought anything yet. I find an attachment that allowed you to click on 2 dildos of choice. They also do DP dildos too but I think I will try a butt plug and the sex machine and see how I get on first
We haven’t purchased anything yet. The replies here are really useful to us but it has led us to pause for the moment as the likelihood is that you get what you pay for and we will need to spend a fair few pounds to get a quality item.
I have never tried a sex machine my boyfriend is who showed me one and said he wants to get me one? They must feel real good because what I seen the girl who was using got off everywhere I’m not sure if I would like it I wanted to ask someone who has used one before about it
Welcome to the forum @asiacunningham2002!
Everyone’s body will react differently to any toy, so what works for one, may not work for another. But Lovehoney does have their happiness guarantee on toys, so if you don’t like it, you can always use that.
We have one.
She loves to watch it being used on me for anal penetration and for masturbation using the sleeve attachment and I love using it myself but she doesn’t enjoy using it personally . She says it feels too artificial for her to really get into it (although she did get off using the non-penetrative attachments on the SyXXan that we used to have).
Welcome @asiacunningham2002
@Racer248 is right. However, I think if you enjoy play with a vibrator then you have a good chance of really liking a sex machine.
I have one and I love the fact it frees up my hands for other toys.
Following up on what others have touched on, be aware that there are different kinds of sex machines, and all at different price points. I’m aware of two basic types of machines:
-
Machines that provide stimulation through vibration.
-
Machines that provide pleasure through simulating penetration.
The vibrating type are often designed to have the user straddle it and provides powerful vibrations to the clitoris and vulva and possibly the anus depending on how one positions themself. They often have different pads/attachments available that can offer different textures for external stimulation or different shapes for insertion vaginally or anally. A common one is the motorbunny and cowgirl.
The 2nd type is focused on penetration allowing attachments of various dildos and even masturbation cups and fleshlight like toys for men. I think these are more versatile as they can be used by anyone and offer potential for vaginal, anal, and penile stimulation. There’s even dp attachments for those who like a full meal deal getting both vaginal and anal penetration at once.
Of key importance to ask yourself is what type of stimulation are you after and secondly is budget as machines can be expensive not including additional attachments which can also be pricey. Just be aware, price often reflects quality and capabilities of a machine.
@MrsT how did the work trip away go? I know you said you were going to take your machine with you.
@KentCouple1990 Good memory. Yes I am still away. The first couple of nights I was cream crackered so never entertained the idea. However, last night I was looking forward to a session only to become disappointed.
Lets just say a lack of well positioned power sockets literally stopped play - FFS why don’t they think of this when planning a room. So lession learnt, I will add an extension lead to my Go bag!
I am away again in a couple of weeks for a rematch.
Hope you are well and you managed your regular me time today?
Oh balls! One to add to the checklist when choosing hotel rooms can imagine the receptions reaction to an extension lead being brought in haha
