Sorry if this is already posted somewhere but I’m looking for advice.
I have a dildo from temu that I really love, I haven’t been able to find one like it elsewhere, the shape, length, width and firmness.
I havent used it all that much but I’ve heard that these cheaper toys are unsafe?
I can’t find the same on Lovehoney, where do you guys go to ?
I wouldn’t buy an internal-use toy from Temu, or even Amazon, ever again.
To be honest, not everything on Lovehoney is up to my standards - I’m pretty exclusively into silicone, glass, or stainless steel for internal toys anymore and not everything on LH fits that.
If you can’t find what you’re looking for on LH though we won’t be able to recommend any other retailers as it’s a violation of the forum rules.
But best bet is to get some solid measurements of the parts that are important to you and use the search and filter functions to get as close to a match as possible! Might be tough to know firmness though as that’s a trickier thing to quantify for most of our circumstances.
@LRLRL Would you not buy something off temu and Amazon etc even if it was advertised as being made of silicone?
At this point I wouldn’t. I’ve heard terrible stories of the way things are drop shipped and sorted and even if you think your buying, for example, from the official Lovehoney shop on Amazon it’s incredibly difficult to trust that you’re actually getting it from who it says. I’m trying to get away from ordering anything that goes in or on my body - food, cosmetics, supplements, medicine - from Amazon.
I mean, actually I’m trying not to buy anything from Amazon if I can find it elsewhere within reason.
I agree that these extremely cheap sex toys can be dangerous with the materials being industrial silicone rather than body safe silicone
Remember a few years ago with breast implants that had to be removed- that was due to the wrong materials being used
I would never buy a cheap toy from these Chinese shops - it’s not worth the risk
oh man, I don’t want to have to throw them away, they feel too good
