Hi my wife and I have just started buying things here and it's been a great experience. After having two kids trying to find the time etc has dampened what used to be a fantastic love life. I am glad to report with the help of Love Honey we have a real new lease of life and it's like when we first met. The Magic Wand is amazing and we have great fun with that it makes her go wild!!
Cheers
Dan

All you need to know about becomeing a tester is on this page..
Remember to only add things on the list when you scroll down.. New people to the forums often make that mistake by adding everyhting they like for the site onto their list. :)
Good luck! xx
Cool, thanks do they issue much out for testing ?
Yea they have lots of things :) From toy and lubes to unddies and bondage stuff. :) You need to be good at writing reviews and have already written some before they will consider you for testing :)
I had written 14 before I became a tester but admitly my first ones were crap and I did not relise but they got better the more I practised :) x
you need to write detailed reviews on your purchases to be in with a chance of testing, they won't consider you for testing until you have written a review so they can judge the quality of them. It goes without saying one liners don't get testers.

Take a look at this.
Welcome to the forums by the way :)
Thanks for the tips people, I have written some reviews but they were not as detailed as they could be, I still have some of my stuff left to review such as the spreader bars which were great till she slammed it in my face lol...
How graphic should they be? Staying product focused is probably the safest bet I guess as that's what people want to know about, that said your trying to tell them what you got from it too....
Well talk about how it was for you and what you done with it ect.. But none of the gorey details.. well none that are to explisit at least.
that link is probably the best review guide I have seen on the net. There is a section for "am I being too explicit".
Have a read through some other people's reviews. If there is a specific product you want to review have a look at previous reviews (if there are any) and have a look at the quality of those. Normally you will find if you put it in order of most helpful, the best quality ones will be at the top.
x
Imo the best thing about reviewing toys is the chance to win £100, rather than the testers.
Check out the blog for past winners - that'll give you a good idea of what they like.

also feel free to have a read through my reviews from my profile. I've had 7 testers in the last 5 weeks so must be doing something right

Well, no. People want to know about your personal experience. Probably more than describing the product (Which is often already done in the description, but you can elaborate, note any things that vary etc) but anyway...your personal experience is important to add to the review. You just have to do it without being too overly sexual or overly rude.
Example one:
The vibrations felt really powerful. Compared to other vibes I have used, this one felt deeper and more rumbly. It took me to orgasm much more reliably than others before it. When inserted, it felt filling...this is a reasonably large toy. The texture was definitely noticeable too. It felt smooth/bumpy/ridged/gentle/firm inside me.
Example two:
Oh my god! This vibe is so good. I slammed it into my partners **** and she was squirting all over the place and that made me hard.....etc etc
Hopefully this shows the difference between describing something without being too sexual or erotic. Lovehoney prefer that the review doesn't sound too explicit (or like a fantasy re-telling of a good night had lol) but they know you will be discussing masturbation/sex etc. You just have to do it similar to the first example than the second.
Good luck! Just remember when writing reviews, people want to know your opinion and how it worked for you, Who it would be suitable for, what felt good/bad and if you had any frustrations or anything about the product impressed you a lot...etc.
Oh yes....and read through some reviews on the website. The reviews have the option to "like" if the person reading found it helpful. Check out the reviews with lots of "likes" and you may pick up tips of how to write a great review that is helpful. x
Thanks just checked the link, common sense really I guess but easy to stray into the realms of a porno flick or biology lesson without realising it haha
I try to make mine amusing and good to read
when i look at a review i want it to be short and to the point (we can all do the 50000 word crap)what is the point of the long story i by pass the long drawn out repetting reviews

There is some point to the longer and more detailed reviews. These are the ones which persuade me to buy a product. I skip the 50 words ones, as they simply don't have the information I need, especially if I'm going to spend quite a bit of money.
Different strokes for different folks I guess x
Hello everyone,
We have also been doing a fair amount of testing for Lovehoney since we joined their testing program, feel free to check out our profile we have a total of 35 reviews so far between us as a couple.
I skip the short review too. No point saying you enjoyed, why did you enjoy it, how does it compare to your others? Does it look cheap? Does it look like the picture! What type of vibration is it? Is it quiet? Is it comfortable? You can't fit all that in a short review. But I also don't want a short erotic story of your sex life.

We completely agree with you on this subject.
