Hi everyone. Off to Jamaica on Monday. Had a quick search online but couldn't find much just wondered if anybody knew what it's like taking toys to Jamaica? Is it acceptable? My girlfriend gets herself in a panic everytime about getting her case searched infront of everyone. Toys are likely to be a wand, dido, vibrator not much more than That so nothing ott.

Sorry to say I do not know all that much on the subject but I have had a look online and by the sounds of it everything should be fine. Have you considered asking Live chat? I know they probable don't get asked about it very much but chances are someone has been and knows the score? Or even ask your Travel agents? I know it might be a little embarrassing at the time but I am sure people have asked before and better safe than sorry. :)

Sex toys aren't illegal in Jamaica, so they couldn't stop you bringing them in. I'd imagine how they react to finding them would be completely up to the individual doing the search.
Im sure in case of a search if there are toys wouldnt they leave tgem in case for discreetness as they are solid and take out clothes.rhey still have duty to protect your feelings
I recently came back from Jamaica with the OH, we took some toys and nobody objected.
But, at the airport on the way back there were security staff picking bags and suitcases at random to search, and going through them in front of the check-in line. Luckily for us we didn't get chosen, although I couldn't see what was in other peoples bags anyway.
I'd say take some, but pack them at the bottom of the suitcase, that way in the unlikely event your case is searched they won't have to take them out because there's nothing underneath.

Been to st lucia no issues and almost died in mexico but just got a knowing nod lol x not a big deal... they see it all the time in customs
Heya, I've just had a search out of personal curiosity and found that it doesn't seem that there are any issues with toys and Jamaica.
Considering that they have local sex toy stores, I doubt there will be any issues. Maybe avoid bringing anything too extreme but from what I read in your post, there shouldn't be any issues.

N.B. As Scorpius mentioned, contacting the local embassy or consulate is probably the only way you'll get 100% confirmation.
We were to Jamaica two years ago and brought some of our sex toys (two dildos, a wand and our harnesses), our luggage was searched but there were no comments from the customs officer. He had probably seen this a lot of times before.

Shouldnt think there would be a problem as a lot of people go there to stay at the Hedonism resorts.

I travel a lot and pack toys. Expect that at times your luggage will be checked / searched... espcially in the US.
My advice, ALWAYS take out the batterys and make sure anything you cannot remove batteries from is set to OFF and secured within your luggage. If something is buzzing they will have to inspect it.
Next, each toy is in its own storage bag, all lubes, cleaner, etc. in a zip lock bag and then secured within another plastic bag. I generally keep them all together.
I have also carried on smaller toys like my pocket rocket and lipstick vib without so much as a wink... so not everything has to be checked.
