Hello! I want to buy a full outfit for my wife as a surprise. She rarely treats herself to new clothes and, on her own I don’t think she’d ever consider getting herself sexy underwear. She’s very practical in that department! She has very occasionally mentioned getting some and until now, I’ve not taken the hint! I’ve read some of the Lovehoney guides on outfits but I thought it was better to ask the community for advice based on my wife’s slightly unusual shape. She’s 5 foot 8 inches, blonde, blue eyes and pale skin. she has 34 inch legs which are very long and she has to by the longest length trousers and jeans from normal stores. I think that makes stockings and suspenders a good base for the outfit. She has an athletic build with small breasts. They are a B cup from looking at her bra measurements. We’ve had two children together and, while she has no stretch marks, she is very conscious of her tummy. I want to make it clear that I think she looks amazing but she says almost every day how much bigger it is and how little tone it has. That made me think that possibly a body stocking or babydoll was the way forward. Maybe a chemise although if I’m honest, I don’t really know what they are! Does anyone have any suggestions on this? I’m most interested in what makes a woman feel the most sexy rather than what men prefer. This is to make her feel as good as she possibly can about herself. I’ll think she’ll look fantastic and turn me on in any of the options on here!!
B abydolls are very good at hiding the tummy area. They can also be worn with other items of lingerie such as stockings .As B abydolls are technically classified as night wear it will give her something sexy to sleep in afterwards as well. They are plenty to choose from, from Lovehoney .

A chemise has a tighter, more figure-hugging fit than a babydoll but there are quite a few on here that have panelling or other detailing that make the stomach look smaller and draw the waist in. The Treasure Me chemises are a great example of this.
I’ve heard good things about Gabriella for stockings on a taller lady and I think Leg Avenue tend to have longer length in the legs than some other brands too so it might be worth checking those brands out.

Bodystockings wise, Lovehoney’s own are super stretchy and flattering. If she’s conscious about her stomach in particular I’d suggest something patterned rather than just mesh or fishnet. These two would be great as the attention is drawn to the legs rather than the stomach and they’re super sexy!

Buying for a female partner is a bit of a mine field. Good that you have some ideas (which are beautiful choices!) but if it were me, I would avoid choosing anything that is too fitted. From experience, I can say that having a partner buy me something that doesn't fit can sometimes be crushing. The parisienne bra is lovely, but it looks like it's wired which a lot of women (including myself) have sometimes had issues with with LH lingerie. They're getting much better but it's probably better to let her try these things out rather than get it wrong.
The others here have given good advice. A baby doll is great, but if she's athletic with smaller breasts, I would try to get one without padding or wires. It sounds like she has gloriously long legs and sometimes a babydoll sits a bit funny if it's the wrong length. Make sure you get one that is the right length for her.
Body stockings are great options if she likes that aesthetic. It's hard to give recommendations as we don't know what she likes. Some are more dominatrix looking, more girly, lacey, leather, you get what I mean... I'd also recommend a 'body' or a stretchy dress if you don't want to get it wrong. They aren't necessarily as expensive as a chemise, set, or basque and much easier to get the fit right.

Wow NatandTom and bex1213 those are some outstanding choices! Struggling not to just buy the lot! The halter neck style matches some dresses she has and that dream girl raspberry baby doll is delicious! I really can’t pick out a favourite so maybe three in total, one of each basic type to start. I’m going to peruse these suggestions for a few days. We're on holiday with the kids this week so I’ll order some of these for a surprise present for when we’re back
I'm with the others on the body stocking. They will make her legs look endless. If she's OK with them being crotchless then they're a good option for tall people (I'm 5ft10) as they tend to be more forgiving in the leg length. Also the lace ones I particular are really good at camouflaging and tummy insecurities.
Her legs are super long so I would be super careful with some body stockings. One piece of advice I can give, which can be a bit of a difficult area for some ladies, is to buy a size up. It gives that little bit extra fabric to pull up.
Personally, the only bodystocking I have is the halterneck one bex1213 recommended in first place. The other one I tried made me look like a badly stuffed sausage. Even though I think my figure is not far away from your wife's - except my legs are much shorter and my torso longer.
Lovehoney's own brand lingerie is generally well-designed for small breasts. I'm a B cup and nothing's ever been too big in the chest area. And I'd say that especially with small breasts underwiring is useful because it makes them look a bit bigger and better. However, underwired bras need to fit and S/M/L sizing just doesn't cut it (unless one happens to fit perfectly into one of the sizes).

As for ordering for your wife in general: I'd say go ahead, but make it clear that she can return anything that doesn't fit without disappointing you in any way - the items are not presents she must accept and be happy about. Of course that means that she'll have to try them on as soon as you receive the package - not waiting for a special occasion to hand it over (and no cutting off the tags or washing the item beforehand, and I believe for hygiene reasons you can't return knickers once they've been tried on).
