From a personal view, I just feel cleaner shaved, as does my wife.
We have been buffed for so long now, its hard to imagine going back to a natural growth.

My wife is a full to lightly trimmed bush person.

I would prefer shaved as I’m shaved myself. But my wifes not keen. She’s happy to trim though so thats fine by me. A big wet hairy bush does put me off. I think its to do with seeing porn in the 70’s.

Important update :
Well sort of, we visited our favourite spa hotel last Saturday & Sunday night for a little break. Until she proudly announced it when we were going into the sauna, I hadn’t noticed that she’d trimmed the area quite short (about 1/2 inch for the nosey people here).
This must be the first time in years she has done so and I felt quite honoured, but more likely she did it not to feel as self-conscious around the other people.

I very much prefer a full bush. I have expiremented with all kinds of lengths, but completely shaven made me itchy and I felt extremely uncomfortable looking at myself in the mirror like that, trimmed also made me itchy and still looked like something was missing. It’s kept in containers like wax is and heated by the esthetician’s hand. Nothing gets in the container.

My wife had a full bush when we got together but started shaving and found she liked it much better with it all shaved off underneath. With just a bit of trimming at the sides, she had a large neat square patch on top and smooth underneath which was her style for quite a few years and now this has become more of a wide landing strip.
