Me and my partner where discussing the fact that i had never wore sexy lingere for him before neither has anybody else he has been with.
I thought it would be nice to surprise him on his birthday! The only problem is i do not know where to start seeing as i have never done ths before. Neither do i want somthing too revealng as i am quite self concious being a size 16 so would like somthing that covers my tummy.
What would you guys reccomend trying first?

I'm somewhere around 16-18 as well, as personally I love corsets and babydolls as they cover my stomach. I always tend to go for plus size stuff here as I've noticed a lot of the suppliers seem to set their sizes small - but don't forgot about the returns deal! Just order in time to have a play around with sizes if need be.

For a first time if you are a bit unsure, dress for you, what you feel sexy and good in, and I'm sure he'll love it. Don't try and second guess what he'll love and feel uncomfortable.

With corsets, the ones sold her are acylic bones, not steel (I also have my fair share of steel bones) They are called corsets but aren't what I think of when I hear corset, and they're actually very comfortable (I wear the ones I have bought here on nights out) if you like the idea, try one out, can always return it if it doesn't fit or is uncomfortable :)
I have a corset, and found it massively improved my posture while wearing, and was very supportive of my weak back. Normally i slouch due to an overly curved spine and it makes my back dent in and my tummy stick out, and it kills all my neck and shoulderblades. It was a shame to take it off as i felt the strain on my muscles as soon as i did, the none steel boned ones are very comfortable.
The only negative for me iss i'm a bigger dress size without the extra boobs, as a b cup i found it made me look flat chested and was a bit baggy no matter how tight i made the top.

I have this in M/L and it's sooo flattering! I'm a UK 16, 6ft tall and 34HH boobs so things NEVER fit me properly but this stretches in all the right places yet doesn't dig in and it can stay on for sex too if you so desire :)

I just bought this in the last week and it is GORGEOUS. The material is so luxurious, and it pulls in all mylumps and bumps quite nicely. I hate the thong, but the corset alone is worth the money, and it pairs nicely with some black lace booty shorts I already owned.
The only thing is, it's not really something you can get into yourself - you'll need someone to lace you into it. So it wouldn't really work if you want something you can put on before your SO comes home as a surprise.

I agree with Naughty Miss K. As this is going to be a first time to dress up in "naughties but nice" and your a bit self conscious, then make sure your comfortable in it. If no one has ever done it for him before and he quite fancies the idea of it, then the fact you made the effort will be pretty fab for him, and it will be even better if your comfortable and can relax and enjoy it yourself. Im of a larger build (uk 16) and Ive got a 36G chest so I have always struggled to find stuff that fits, In my situation though I have found that anything which is cup less/peephole style suits me best, removes the hassle of trying to fit my boobs in and he likes to see them and its easy access. So if your comfortable with that part of your body and its your stomach your not so keen on, maybe try something similar, that way your lovely bresticles will keep his attention. But the main message in my post is to make sure your comfortable. it will make the world of different in the whole experience for you and him. :)
Do any of the baby dolls chemises take your fancy? They're sort of like an extra-sexy nightie and they cover well so they're good if you're feeling self-conscious about wearing something. If you find that you want extra support, look for one you could wear a bra underneath.
Unless a corset or basque or something else really appeals to you. A friend of mine went right to that (she was unhappy with her post-pregnancy belly even though her husband loved it cause it was where their daughter came from) amd that was the right thing for her.
