I bought myself a glass dildo for a little self play, six inch and pretty straight forward, but one thought I had is that it was *very* rigid, and I'm wondering if that's necessarily as good as people say? More so, while there's generally no issues, when I'm removing it afterwards, there's always the real discomfort, I feel, of having to pull the head out. It's just really uncomfortable and I honestly never look forward to it! Is this a common issue with more rigid and/or glass dildos? Are softer alternatives and materials more recommended? Any advice or stories?
Thanks!

I'm quite new to anal too. I started with silicone, then moved up to metal and glass once I was comfortable but I mainly use plugs so they don't go in as far. Glass wise I use the beaded end of this:
The beaded end is only 2/3 of inches in length so it doesn't go in as far and is quite easy to remove. For anything longer, I think I'd rather start with silicone or something else that's soft until I'm more used to it as there is some flex.
Are you struggling to get it in as well as out? Have you tried warning it up in warm water first?
I would reccomend considering the lovehoney lifelike range of silicone dildo's, they are in various colours, similar size to glass toys and offer on special offer. I bought glass and found it very uncomfortable because there is no flex, i have found silicone dildo's of a similar size much easier to use because they flex and squash a bit while still doing what we want them to do.
Glass toys are easy to insert for a beginner because they glide very smoothly, but I think the solid form is maybe more stimulating to someone more experienced who knows what they're doing and how to work the right spots with it.
I have the LH glass anal dildo too and find it fantastic :) I really enjoy jelly dildos too because they are super comfortable, so I'd maybe recommend something like that to a begginer because they're so soft and squishy and not too challenging.
