I’ve recently booked a few hours in a private BDSM room. It’s my first time trying it and I am looking for some advice/tips.
I’ll be there by myself so bondage will be limited for safety reasons.
I’m male, in my 40s and am planning to do some cross dressing, self humiliation, anal play with toys and I want to incorporate some of the equipment in the play.
I’ve never done much in the way of BDSM but I enjoy a reasonable amount of pain, self flogging, etc.
I’m open to experimentation. Any thoughts?

Not sure where to start - I’m all for dressing up and I would take a few photos - but where is the spanking …
I know it’s often taboo - but try a professional dominatrix - not that expensive but a lot of fun
It all depends on what you have available to you to use but off the top of my head:
- Impact play using paddles, short crops etc on your inner thighs and/or genitals
- Wax play. Obviously use proper bdsm candles not just regular household ones and avoid any hairy areas of your body (although if you are up for it, you could incorporate shaving into your play)
- Clips and pegs. You can add them to nipples, between fingers, penis, testicles (loose skin only), and anywhere else you can attach them to yourself. Peg zippers can be fun, which is where the pegs are all attached by a cord and you can pull them all off in one go.
- Wear a collar and cuffs as these can help get you in the mood
Quite a few bondage venues also host play parties where you can attend and socialise with others attending. There’s no pressure or expectation to play with anyone but if you’re wanting to experience a more submissive scene, there’s only so much you can do with yourself, even with a dice/spinner/camera.
Otherwise maybe view the bullet and hire someone to help you fulfil some fantasies.
Just my two cents, if solo is your thing then go ahead, there’s just a big limit on what you can do/experience
Welcome to the forum dude! Never really considered doing a room experience in a solo mode… have to let us all know how it goes
I second this. Not only not that expensive but often genuinely warm and caring and want the best experience for the client.
