I have noticed that after going down on my wife my throat, int hours and days after my throat becomes a little sore and I have to make an effort to clear it, or occasionally grunt to clear it. Does anyome else have the same issue? I’m aware that the PH levels are likely a little acidic which is causing it but i cant remember it always being like this (or at least my throat responding in this way).
Any thoughts or advice and I’d be interested to hear.
Could be bacteria as well adding to this… have you tried doing an experiment to see if it is less effected when your wife washes thoroughly down there before you do oral?
It tends not to make a difference. I will perhaps experiment with water or mouthwash. I’m hesitant with mouthwash though as no idea how it might react with any of my wife’s juices.
I got that the last session. Closer to her period and/or after a PIV session when we have “mixed” always has a bitter taste and gives me a sore throat.
I don’t mind it but as Michael Douglas claims, he apparently got throat cancer from it, it could be an issue. I know there is no study or real proven risk, but the throat being sore is a real thing for me. There is an HPV risk that causes cancer, but HPV would be from having multiple partners and I don’t believe that Mrs. Val is cheating at all. I do think it is a chemical reaction and very acidic.
I never get a sore throat doing oral right after her period though. Strange.
I was actually going to mention that re Throat Cancer. I’m aware of that so mindful - i keep that in the back of my head. I don’t go down on her that often though love doing it.
Likewise me and my wife have been together for 10 plus years now so its been a while since either of us have had other partners.
Ill be mindful of the timing and see if that makes any difference too.
Yes see how that works but also remember it’s good to have some natural bacteria in your mouth as it helps fight any unnatural germs you may get from your wife’s bits that could be causing the sore throat
It’s probably just the pH but it’s worth making sure that she doesn’t have mild BV, you can get a home test kit for it and it’s treatable by antibiotics. It’s not an STI, it’s just caused by a naturally occurring bacteria getting a bit out of control due to a change in pH I think. It’s possible to have it but not have symptoms, it happened to me - it was picked up when I went for STI tests after non-consential, unprotected sex. It’s probably nothing, but worth checking.
