We use a reusable bed wetting mat, its fabric on the top so comfortable to lay on but waterproof layer underneath…xxxx

I was fine using a towel underneath us until I squirted the first time 
We have one of these Liberator Throws that we just lay over the bed before getting started, and it’s been really good catching any messes and is easy to wash up

My wife squirted for the first time last week,up to then we both thought of it as a bit of a myth as she orgasms regularly and gets really wet but never actually squirted before,both of us where totally shocked and excited when it happened. Have the first squirt in the shower. And lots of towels in bed. My fluids are fairly sticky, so it’s not like water just running everywhere.
I hate using disposable things like puppy pads, so we’ve got a waterproof backed soft blanket thing that has never let a drop through. A few towels hanging around for mop up just in case, and we are ready. Super quick to set up too.
Just buy a mattress protector that goes under the sheets like you get on a children’s bed, it protects the mattress and is placed under the sheet so no one would ever know it’s there, but buy a proper quilted one not a plastic one the rustles and makes you sweat like a pig!
We use pads and I get the idea of not using disposable products. Also make sure if.you do use pads, hide them from the kids otherwise they think you’re getting another puppy

I brought a waterproof bedsheet of shein for this exact reason; expecting it not to work well but my god it was a life changer! Literally I squirt a lot and soak the bed all the time having to use 2 towels on top to stop it going through the mattress, this one bedsheet works perfect absolutely no leakage at all! I even poured a jug of water onto the bed in one spot and NONE of it leaked through!

We have ended up doing most of our squirting sessions (I only squirt when using a Womanizer Pro40, not from anything else funnily enough haha) in the bath!
When you ruin one mattress and find out how expensive they are, it does put you off haha!

There are specific waterproof sheets as I believe @JoCat mentioned. I can also confirm they work well. Unfortunately they don’t do anything for the carpet underneath.
There are also PVC/vinyl, ”sit on top of mattress” designed items used for Nuru Massage. It’s basically an inflatable square of whatever bed size you need, that has a 2 foot raised edge around the outside to keep everything “in.”
Obviously with squirting, depending on the strength of the squirters Kegel strength. Some strategic positioning may be required.
Neither work all that much for carpet and or wall protection in my experience with some of my exes with a 6 foot range without an (intentional block), being required to keep it all in the box on top of the mattress.

I feel the pain of needing a few towels, definitely going to be looking at some alternatives mentioned above
My OH squirts nearly every time, so we have to use a squirt blanket every time as it is that frequent.
We started with towels until they couldn’t absorb it all, so I looked on line and found some squirt blankets, that are waterproof and can be used on either side.
We have 3, two are 1m square and the other covers the whole bed. We use the smaller ones most of the time as they need washing regularly.
We have not had wet sheets since using these.
Lovehoney doesn’t sell them, but should look into it as the quality is excellent.
