Hi all simple question
Are the any straight men out there that like gay porn?
I consider myself staright but have recently started getting into trans porn quite a bit which is weird because it's something I never would have watched before but now it's my go to thing.
I do sometimes watch gay stuff as well which again is something I would have avoided in the past.
I know my boyfriend definitely doesn't.I do,though,but I'm a chick.
I think there is a lot more to sexual desire than the gender, which is why I think some straight men enjoy gay porn. These are my guesses:
It's Taboo: Naughty, taboo things generally turn all of us on and what is taboo to one person is different to another. Maybe for some straight guys, watching a man get off feels really taboo and that is the turn on.
Its Sex: Its watching someone get off. Doesn't matter whether male or female, the thrill is watching those moments of pure pleasure someone else is experiencing. (for example: I like to watch amateur females, but I have never been with a woman). The sexual acts themselves are hot and we are human and sex is hot..whoever is having it.
Self reflection: Maybe we can associate a lot more when watching people of the same sex get sexy, or get off, because we have those parts and can imagine those sensations are happening to us, or can closely connect with those feelings.
Tendencies: Some men (or women) may highly wish to see themselves as straight due to social conditioning and teaching them that homosexuality is wrong (I refer you back to the Taboo thing) yet it is entirely possible they don't sit entirely in the "straight" camp. Its a sliding scale. Some are 100% one way, others 50/50 and some say things like "I'm 90% straight...I mean I would like to enjoy oral with someone of the same sex, but definitely no relationships, or kissing, or romance". Labelling ourselves and others is difficult and I am aware of people who have same sex relationships who identify as 100% straight. Gender and sexual identiy and such is a great big ball of wibbly wobbly, timey wimey stuff. Yeah, I just ripped off Dr Who. Identify as you wish and enjoy what you wish.

Whatever the reasons, you are definitely not alone. There are squillions (okay, maybe not quite squillions, but a lot) of men and women who identify as straight but enjoy same sex porn for whatever reason.
I agree with fluffbags - straight men can enjoy gay porn simply upon the premise that this is a video of someone enjoying themselves a lot! There is a saying that men like women to act like gay men in bed, which is funny and probably true! :) Not because of anal sex or the idea of trying to be a guy, but because gay guys don't care about anything except pleasuring each other in the heat of the moment. Most aren't thinking "Oh my love handles are jiggling like ote! Urgh!" etc etc. They're just getting off on getting off with their partner. Bottom line is: Straight guys watch gay porn because they're aroused by it because it's two people engaging in sexual acts that they obviously enjoy and are getting lots of pleasure from!
I like all sorts of porn, as long as it's genuine and the person(s) partaking in it are enjoying themselves. For me it's about the noises, the sound, I love hearing two people have a good time, regardless of their sex/gender. If someone sounds like their having the time of their life then I'm happy, they're happy...

Just to echo the words of others, it's a very grey area with straight, gas and everything in between.... took me years to realise it's not clear cut for anyone and probably continually a changing preference for people.
The best thing I learnt to do for my own personal experience was not to put a label on it and just enjoy every twist and turn along the way

I think that a lot of the issue is that male bisexuality tends to be very downplayed and often outright denied in a lot of cases. An awful lot of people out there tend to think that if a man identifies as bi then he's just 'in denial' and is really gay... So there are a lot of guys out there who won't admit it because of the fear that they won't be wanted by women any more if they do.

While I don't know if this is true or not, I have to totally agree with the reasoning that many men would be afraid to admit to themselves, let alone anyone else that they might be interested in men. I mean, has anyone else noticed just how many women these days admit to being bisexual, yet the numbers are wayyyy lower for men. So, this suggests either women are more inclined to be attracted to both sexes, or more likely...it is more acceptable for a woman to admit she is bi, whereas there is more stigma (still) attached for males who admit being bi.
Like I said though, it really is a scale from totally straight to totally gay and there is so much variety in between. There are plenty of men (and women) who only want to watch the same sex and not go further. Maybe that is the extent that they feel attracted to the idea, but the shame is that if they enjoy watching, they start to question everything (Am I gay...but I dont want to sleep with men..whats going on here?). Instead of just thinking, "fuck the labels...I like what I like and don't like what I don't like"
And the irony is, not all women would be freaked out by dating/being with a bisexual guy. It would be fun to compare hot guys together (Drifts off imagining male on male fantasies).
I think it's a bit of a vicious circle - (some) women are freaked out by male bisexuality because it's not really talked about or admitted and so is unusual... So it becomes less talked about and more unusual.
sexuality is a continuum from straight all the way to gay and beyond. as a male who enjoys anal play and would love to be pegged,i rejoice in the complexity that is human sexuality and enjoy what ever feels good. isnt that what pleasure is all about

I think it's pretty cool that there are straight guys out there who enjoy watching gay porn, whatever the reason behind may be. It's something to embrace; if you enjoy it then more power to you.
The thing about gay porn, though, is that is has so many sub-genres within it, that it's hard to even start to analyse what about it anyone might be drawn to in particular, without knowing exactly what it is that they're watching.
Some of the themes you'll often see reflected in gay porn include hyper-masculinity, with models who have very athletic and well-defined bodies, and it's not uncommon for other men to naturally take an interest in that sort of thing. You'll see it at gyms, where completely straight guys admire each other's muscles in a way that an onlooker might mistake for homoeroticism.
There's also the issue of dominance and power play. Someone always has to take the submissive position during gay sex, and seeing one man dominating another is mentally a much more powerful image than that of a man dominating a woman.
That's just two examples, and then if you move over to something like twink porn you'll get something entirely different, so clearly there can be lots of different subconscious reasons why people might want to watch this sort of thing, and they're all completely valid.

Yes! I have always enjoyed gay porn, but have never had a boyfriend who would watch it with me. Maybe one day :)
