I've been looking too. Most strap ons seem to be one way. However some do have a vibrating bullet which gives pleasure both ways.

We have only used the Feeldo and my partner found it made her a bit sore the first time (when it did stay in) or kept slipping out when she used more lube. She now just holds it with her hand while using it on me.
There was a thread some time ago about what harnesses went best with it which you could search for.
We've got the "share" but as others have mentioned its a bit heavy and so oh feels like it's sliding out of her all the time.

Seriously considering a proper strap on with harness.
We really like the Share XL. Like you we really wanted my wife to get something physical out of it so explored double dildos from the start. We found a harness with unconnected internal and external dildos didn't do much for her so moved on progressively through the various double enders - Vixen Nexus, Feeldoe original, etc till we finally hit on the Share and Share XL.
To be frank, ignore the 'strapless' concept. None of these double enders work well without a harness but with a harness they give a very direct connection between you that really works. You need to find a harness that can be adjusted to cope with the very low position that this type of dildo has (or, like us, make your own).

I know you can get "proper" harnesses like the Vac-U-Lock that has a double adapter but they can run to a fair old amount of money, possibly something to consider later on?

The Vac-u-lock harness with the provision for two internal dildos was what we started with and had no joy with because the harness made little or no connection between the thrusting and what the wearer felt. Thanks guys, some interesting replies here. The purple double dildol/vibrator that one of you posted a link for above is the sort of thing I had in mind, but I can't imagine that will allow as much flexibility/choice of positions as the feeldoe. Another great thing about the feeldoe is that either of us could use it on our own.
One more thing to consider is that my gf is quite large so not sure if this will have a negative effect on either option.

My wife is a size 16 (just what I like!) and I'm not as svelte as I once was (read fat old f@rt) and we have found that getting the harness right really helps with the 'reach' of this type of dildo. A while back we readjusted the harness and I swear the Share cleared the wax out of my ears. If you want a really long one the Feeldoe 'More' is about the longest. However, we have also added cock extensions to dildos to increase their reach which widens the choices somewhat.
I think there is no substitute for trying them out (suck it and see some might say) as it's all such a matter of personal preference.

Would recommend getting them, not always the easiest to put on as the pants are quite thin and tend to turn inside out as they are pulled up, but it's not a major problem. Once on my wife says they are great, and you won't find me complaining.....
