Strokers

Well being female, I asked my guy and he has a few high end strokers (fleshlight) and a few cheaper ones like the one I linked above. My guy says that he cant choose between the fleshlight and the cheaper ones because they just feel so different from each other that its a different experience and unfair to compare.

For example the fleshlights, he says they feel more realistic. Of course not exactly like a woman but closer to the real feel sensations than the cheaper strokers. He prefers them for longer slower build up sessions. They are less intense but more real.

Of the cheaper toys he owns, he says the tracey cox supersex sensation stroker and the lovehoney Extreme feel intense and amazing. You can feel more sensation from these toys than you can from the likes of the fleshlights. You can feel the ripples and bobbles etc inside these toys more and it is a more faster intense experience.

I would say there is a kind of "meet somewhere in the middle toy" and that is probably the fleshjacks. They are made of the real feel material exactly the same as the fleshlights. But the interior of these toys is more intense than its bigger brother, the fleshlight.

Anyway I have written reviews on the strokers we own and your more than welcome to go check them out for more in depth details (Save me typing it all out here again) lol:

My lovehoney Extreme review:

Lovehoney Extreme Double Stroker&reviewid=51726#customer_reviews

My Fleshjack review (Seriously nice toy)

Fleshjack Sex in a Can Banana Cream Soda&reviewid=47879#customer_reviews

My Tracey Cox stroker review: (really nice intense toy but it doesnt last long, it does deteriotate over about ten uses or so, others have said the same, shame because it is sooo gooood)

Tracey Cox Supersex Sensation Stroker&reviewid=46400#customer_reviews

My Fleshlight review:

Tera Patrick Fleshlight Girls Lotus Fleshlight&reviewid=46403#customer_reviews

All of the above 4 toys I would recommend 100% and I would say if you havent tried a stroker before. try one! Its just something different, unique sensations. And every stroker gives different sensations, so if you try one and hate it, you can start to tailor your likes and dislikes in a stroker and find one that will knock your socks off.

Hi Ms HKM
can they deliver the same quality that LH does ?

Does the alternative supplier include piste and packing for £3.00?

Or the high level of customer service?

Or the extras like this forum?

I could go on.

The "If your not happy simply return it" policy that LH offers makes paying that little bit extra worth it IMO, I've just gone and ordered one of the strikers for myself because of this thread.......well, my basket ended up getting to £40 some how...... I think I've got a problem, I've spent £200 on toys in 3 days :O

Just a quick question regarding the strokers though, how do you guys store them? Do they have a tacky feel like the Fleshlights meaning they attract dust and bits easily?

agree with you . But the end of the day if you start at the better end of the cheaper end of strokers and if you like the feelings step up if you want to the fleshlight and the porn star you'd like to fuck if that's your thing

The cheaper ones are more "rubbery" and dont get sticky. They do attract a bit of lint and dust and to be honest, a quick rinse before use and the problem is solved.

The fleshlights and real feel materials are different. I would suggest getting yourself to the baking isle in tesco and picking up some cornflour. It is safe to use with the real feel toys and if you dont believe me, google is your friend. :D I believe even the toy manufacturers recommend cornflour. They just do it quietly because they sell renewer powder too :P Cornflour is like £1 a box and that will last you aaaages. Easy to get too. Anyway you just rub some cornflour around your real feel toy and it acts like talcum powder (dont use talc, perfumed etc) it will take your toys from sticky to smooth and soft again. As new. The fleshlights come in a sealed container so that all of the material that can get sticky is inside that tube. So just dab a bit of cornflour around the entrance, put the lid on and it will be ready for next time.

I know what you mean about the shopping. Think ive spent about £400 over the last year here. Addicted! lol

You've just reminded me that I got a tube of the renew powder with my last Fleshlight, time to use some me thinks!

I would feel guilty about spending the £200 but we're having amazing sex exploring new things and I don't think you can put a price on that (well ok obviously you can, LH just did lol!!).

In contribution to the thread I ordered the clear intense double stroker so my OH gets to see everything that is going on when she uses it on me and since I already have the Fleshlights which I don't find very intense at all it will be nice to try something like this and challenge my OH to see how quick she can make me cum with it XD

I was just deliberating over that exact toy! seeing as its on sale.....tempted....

I keep saying that to my guy when a new toy arrives. I put on my cutest face and say "Hunni, you cant put a price on our satisfaction" I just get the evil look lol

Disclaimer: It is my own money....I aint using his lol

My OH does the cute thing when she's been clothes shopping, although she normally trys to redeem herself by claiming she's bought some sexy new undies just for me.

Go on you know you want to, what's a £10!

I know! and it would be for him too! but still....I am getting the look....not allowed he said until we have out next pay day lol.

We will see.......

I have methods of getting my own way muahahahaha (Evil laugh)

Having tried a variety of the strokers, Fleshlights and Tenga's available i would have to say definitely yes it is worth it, but would advise you read a few reviews on them first. Personally I prefer Fleshlights over basic strokers, but all of them are good.

Hi all,

I didn't really want to start a new thread since this old one is so informative.

We've just got this in a LH pack, http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=22080

Some of the reviews say that you're supposed to use the standard toy cleaner on it, but I found when I used the LH toy cleaner and dried it off it was difficult to get into my storage bag and clinged to the sides, would it be best if I used the powder from LH or is the toy cleaner best?

Thanks :)

I've just treated myself to two from here, Tracey Cox supertight and the Vulcan wet mouth, i'd been considering one for a while but with the BH deals I got the two for basically the price of of one, they still need some more rigouous testing before I post definitive reviews but so far both very satisfactory - completely different feelings from both!

Yes. As a fellow tight Yorkshire man I would tell you that they are worth every penny.

The flesh light range are amazing and once you have one you will think why didn't buy sooner

What do you use to clean them?

Maybe I am silly, maybe I am just smart but use a mild soap and hot water and the jobs a good'un. I know you can buy expensive toy cleaner sprays and soaps but what you need to think about in reality is:

1) Ensure the cleaning soap does not contain silicone. In the same way that people recommend only using water based lubes with silicone toys, silicone can react and damage silicone toys so you just want to ensure your soap does not contain silicone.

Other than that, you just want to avoid any bleachy products or harsh chemicals that could melt or damage the product (Pure silicone toys can be left in a 10% bleach solution and be sterilized this way. They can even be boiled, just ensure the product doesnt touch the sides of the pan) or placed in the dishwasher...I won't tell if you don't :P)

Problem is most strokers are not made from pure silicone, one of the most difficult materials to look after is the materials inside Fleshlights and Strokers. They are prone to attracting mold, discolouration, stickiness and eventually smelling a little stale inside if you are not reeeeally thorough.

I use an anti bacterial hand wash like carex or something, on allll my toys and not had a problem yet. To be honest I was naughty and did not bother checking the hand wash ingredients but by the time I realised I should, I had already been using it for a year or so and had not experienced a problem so I continued with it. I would also recommend looking at the skin kind, hypoallergenic body washes/hand washes available as they have very little, to no harsh chemicals and perfumes in them to potentially damage your toys. They are cheap too but not antibacterial, so if this is important to you, you might want to rethink and find some anti bacterial soap like the carex handwash.

If you are really worried you can spot test your toy. Rub the soap into an area you don't mind getting slightly damaged (Maybe the base or something) leave it for 24 hours and rinse off. See if it caused a reaction or not.)

Simply use soap and hot water and rinse really well and ideally leave the product to air dry outside of any cases or containers (To stop mold or stale smells)

Methods for cleaning the inside of male strokers: Put your palm over one end and squirt your soap into the other, run a little water inside with the soap. Cover the both ends and give it a shake. Once you have done that, start to squeeze and massage the whole tube, to ensure the soap gets rubbed all up inside there and then simply hold one end open and let the hot water run through for a minute to ensure all that soap has been washed out.

If you are really worried about the soaps and not sure what to do. There are some very specific sex toy cleaning products available here:

I have the fresh toy cleaner and used it on the link I posted above last night. Just it seems to stick to the bag a lot and I didn't know if it would be better buying the powder specifically for that product rather than using the toy cleaner.

Stick to which bag? I am confused? Are you storing the stroker in a plastic bag r some kind of plastic wrapping?

The Lovehoney strokers are made from a material which is not sticky as such, but it has a lot of ermmm... drag or friction. It is a rubbery like material and I know our one does attarct hair and lint and dust sticks to the sides but it doesn't feel sticky as such, just that rubbery style material.

Anyway, I know that these materials (including silicone) can cause a lot of drag (I store most of my toys in the lovehoney satin bags and omg, its difficult to get some of the silicone/rubbery materials stuffed inside due to the drag.

Yes, using the Fleshlight powder renewer will help a little, possible a lot but so does cornstarch, which is a cheaper alternative, safe to use and available from most supermarkets in the baking isle. As for storage, I would recommend a box of some kind if the mateiral sticking bothers you a lot. The box that these strokers arrive in is a good temporary solution until it falls apart. x
