Hello all, I have a query regarding lingerie with suspender clasps, basques, chemises and suspender panties, you know what I'm on about.
I'm looking into buying several items for my girlfriend who is a very petite 5'0" and a size 6. Most of the items Im interested in are from lovehoney, a few from other brands, all of them available from this fantastic site.
I was wondering if any of you lovely people have any advice when it comes to choosing the right peice in terms of clasp length to fit her lovely little legs. I don't want to buy something to surprise her with only to find out that the clasps are far too long even on their shortest setting!
I've been trawling through lovehoney reviews for an obsessively long length of time and to be fair some of them are a bit mixed in terms of info for the shorter ladies out there.
I wish I could help but I have the very same Issue, I am 5ft 2 with the shortest legs known I am sure..
I end up cutting the suspender straps then sewing them together to get a decent fit...I am going to watch this post carefully in case any fids and prefect for short legs..
Yeah im wondering if I could try and learn how to sew without her finding out! Fingers crossed that it won't come to that, I have a feeling I'd screw it right up and make them either the wrong length or just totally ugly. Aaaarrrrrgggg
I have the same problem but only because I prefer a shorter length of suspender. Personally, I have just started to wear other forms of lingerie that don't require suspenders. It's a bit frustrating, I know, but it might be worth a try so she doesn't feel frustrated on the day. Have you thought of trying a babydoll (for a more girly look) or a body stocking (a bit more kinky and frisky) instead? I LOVE both for different reasons but a lot of the body stockings have stretchy 'suspenders' built in which makes it a lot easier. Something like these for example:
I know it's not specifically what you're looking for, but if I receive a gift from my partner that doesn't fit I often feel quite body conscious and sensitive. This might be another way to go!x

Thanks for the input ladies! As far as bodystockings go, I've also been looking into them as I know most are stretch fit. And as for other forms of lingerie, don't worry! Thats Something that has already come into play and will most definitely be on the cards again in the future. I've just been drooling over the thought of her in crotchless suspender panties tbh!
I'm a tiny 4'10" and on every single item of lingerie i've had from here with suspender straps adjusted as short as they will go they are way too long on me luckily on all bar on thing the straps are removable
bodystockings are great they stretch to fit most sizes they fit my tiny height no problem
Shortening suspender straps is not difficult but as an alternative if you still have problems try hold ups. The ones with a nice lace top are so so sexy
