Is it true that an upside down pineapple or black ring worn on the right hand are swinger symbols?
Are these well used in the lifestyle or well known outside it?
Are there any other ones?

We are well aware of the pineapple but haven’t heard of the black ring. There are a few others for the likes of a hot wife or (an anklet) or even a ace of spades tattoo etc
I was told by friends that Pampas grass outside a house is also a sign and two garden Gnomes.
What are the garden L ones up to??
I knew about the pineapple but have only seen it in use a couple of times. The others I haven’t heard of. The BDsm triskelion is used quite a bit for the alt lifestyle scene though.
Pampas grass is an old one, just asked Google and black rings came up. Pineapples are now a thing and pink flamingos in the garden
I have a pampas grass wreath on my door not for swinging purposes mind
Likewise. The seeds from the grass have spread wide and there are clumps of pampas growing out of hedgerows and road verges everywhere. Either swingers paradise or very fertile ground to grow pampas grass.
Someone once told me about a particular plant if seen in someone’s front garden means they’re a swingy couple!
They’re certainly well-known symbols but the swingers we know only use them ironically. Can’t think of anyone planting pampas grass in the hopes that someone randomly rings the doorbell, or turning all their fruit fridge magnets upside down to see if the neighbours take the hint.
Reckon most Lifestyle folks just use the internet.
My husband wears a black ring on his right hand… yup it can be a symbol
Heard of the pinapple and pampas grass, but not the others.
