We're on a 'sabbatical' from swinging at the moment. We met on a certain swingers site and went from being FB's to happily married. Between us we've visited a fair few clubs in our time, some of which aren't around anymore but there are a few we'd recommend dependant on what you're looking for and your 'comfort levels'. Our favourite was always Xtasia as your options were wider than some clubs. A 'nightclub' feel with a greta variety of play available - from private and group rooms to the upstairs 'dogging zone' (we left a few dents on the car bonnets in our time!), the tub and the great foam parties and theme nights. As a 'dress up' rather than towel/lingerie club you had the choice to go smart casual or dress a little more risque. We never had any issues on single male nights but be prepared for a larger number of them attending than at clubs with restrictions on numbers. Chameleons is also great - the BBW nights are legendary but as a 'wet' club (i.e. towels/naked/underwear only) it was less our thing. Others we'd tried (may not still be around of course!) include Jaydees, Cupids, Exeter Swingers, The Lodge (definitely gone), and Decadents. The best advice is to do some research before deciding where to go. Fabswingers has a review section for clubs where you'll get a good idea of both the club itself and the clientelle. Of course all reviews will be biased in some way especially from regulars, and those who frequent rival clubs, but it's all helpful info. It's defintely also worth speaking to the owners, making sure you get a tour on your first visit and even touching base with other couples via websites - many will have sections where people post details of club plans and 'looking for meets' sections. Go with an open mind, talk in advance about what your limits are (although things can change if you feel comfortable) and remember that you have the right to say no whenever you want. Generally people (yes - even the single men) will be courteous and respect boundaries. And those that don't will soon be ejected if you approach management. It's a wonderful life and one where once you get comfortable and confident in it the opportunities are endless.
Great insight. I know this wasnt our original thread but your post is great. We've just signed up to our local (ish) club and i was nervous about how it works. Not so much now. Thank you! 😘

Quite fancy going to a swingers club, as a single female, and see whether it's really my scene. I'm not sure where to find a good one in Scotland. Any tips? I'm on the west coast.
Hi Wide-awake, I am in Scotland too but not ventured into the club scene yet, though I am very keen to! There's CJ's townhouse in Glasgow and After eight in Edinburgh, both are rated on Fabswingers in club review part of the site, I think u need to be a member of fab to read them though! I am too nervous of bumping into anyone I know so I am looking further afield and possibly Germany as I enjoy German swinger porn for some reason??? Hope you find what you are looking for xx
