We used to have one.

As you say my wife’s orgasms were very intense and I used to use it anally too but, for us at least, the setting up and packing away took away any spontaneity so we gradually used it less and less. Eventually we sold it on.

It’s also very loud.

Well a very mixed experience it was!
My friend was very helpful in advising me with lube and not to start on such a high setting.
As I started my experience I was really aware of the noise, however even on the lower setting the vibration was strong.God almighty, when I increased the settings it was amazing, and before long I couldn’t hold back , and I had a very satisfying, intense orgasm.The noise from the sybian and my moans were so loud!

You can mitigate the noise by make a base for it. I’ve made a few DIY sybians in the past and its got the job done but cant quite bring myself to spend the money on a proper one. The OH will just have to make do with her wands

We used to use our Sybian on a thick foam mat placed on the duvet and mattress and it was still bloody loud.

We had one. It can be way too much for some. Yes she liked it. She did not love it. As stated by others, it is not something you can just leave out. Not in our house anyway. It did take time to get out and get ready. I am sure it would be fun at a party. We ended up selling ours. Similar to the sex swing. It was fun for a bit but something that had to be put up and the novelty wore off.
