Terrible service £100 lost

Terrible service. Claimed order over £100 was delivered by being left unattended on doorstep (hardly a “safe place” when in full view of and directly accessible from street) then refused to help when customer finds no order on doorstep. Do not risk orders of large value as they don’t ask for signature on delivery so your delivery is not guaranteed and you will lose your money when they refuse to help you. They are virtually impossible to get hold of for customer support as well. Just emails taking several days to be acknowledged and often ignored. Really dishonest behaviour from them. £100 out of pocket and fuming.

Are you referring to Lovehoney? I’m sure there’s live chats for problems.

Raise an issue with the delivery company and merchant- if it’s Lovehoney they will help

Let me see if I can guess the courier :thinking: could it be Evri.

First thing I would do is to contact LH then onto the courier to tell them what has happened, and telling them you have informed LH of the bad delivery.

It sounds like you would really need to take this up with the courier, once the package is in their possession, there’s not too much the merchant can do.

I get that it’s frustrating and annoying and by all means speak to customer care on live chat or however you can, but definitely follow up with the courier company as it’s their responsibility to deliver your item safely.

I can only speak from my experience but I’ve always found the Lovehoney customer support really great to deal with. It just requires some patience, especially on weekends. I hope you manage to get it resolved :blush:

I’m not sure who the complaint is targeted at. LH customer service has always been excellent. May be the courier is the problem?

Sounds to me like your complaint is with your local Evri delivary person, not Lovehoney, although I think when it comes to distance selling, delivery is ultimately the sellers responsibility ( may be wrong ).
Did you get a tracking number? If so Evri might be able to provide a photo of the delivered item and you can verify whether it was or wasn’t delivered to your door instead of someone elses.

Did you provide them with your safe place location?

No, no where does it mention that delivery is signed for.

Seconding this. LH live chat is incredibly quick and helpful. Their courier of choice however is utterly woeful.
