I have added the answers to the quiz post :+1:

And the winner of this Cheeky Weekender is… :drum::drum::drum:

@LuciousLegs :popcorn::popcorn::popcorn:

Congratulations! :slightly_smiling_face:

That’s 5-in-a-row :medal_sports::medal_sports::medal_sports::medal_sports::medal_sports: I think you probably deserve a crown for that. :crown::slightly_smiling_face:

Having a quick tally of all your Cheeky Weekenders, I think you’ve got a grand total of 80¼/100. :clap::clap: My maths isn’t brilliant, but I think that’s about an 80% success rate. :slightly_smiling_face::partying_face:

And you’re a double Clean-Sweeper too…

@LuciousLegs :boom::bear:

I don’t know why these are the last ones? I’ve gone back and counted seven, but I thought there’d be eight? :thinking: I may have lost some cards somewhere.

Congratulations @LuciousLegs!! Extreeeeemely well deserved and you definitely deserve the film quiz crown :crown:

@Ian_Chimp - is it because you used them for the NYE quiz and another the week after (9th Jan) but they weren’t called Cheeky Weekender? :blush:

Yup. That makes more sense. :slightly_smiling_face::+1:

Congratulations @LuciousLegs! :slight_smile:

Thanks all I do enjoy the cheeky weekenders :partying_face:

I couldn’t remember if it was Rip Torn or Thorn luckily I guessed right.

“if you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a ball”

And thanks @Ian_Chimp for putting it on.

I think of him as Ripped Tear! :wink:

Congratulations @LuciousLegs! Great movie knowledge! :film_projector: :trophy:

In fairness had I not misread :boom:3 I’d still not have got the answer. Would have known the face of the actor I was looking for, would never have known his name. When @LuciousLegs and @WillC were talking about him I was so confused thinking, surely “Rip Torn” is not the name of an actor! :rofl: Seems (from answers and Google) it is :woman_shrugging:t2:

Yeah, i just assumed it was Tommy Lee Jones’ character not really thinking about it, in my defense i was on the vod! Elmore Raul Torn is his actual name, i just looked him up, so Rip must be an apt nickname! :slightly_smiling_face:

I need to watch its a mad mad mad mad world, I did the trailer and think maybe I have seen it before once as a kid (human kind not a baby goat) but until I see where the treasure is I wont know for sure.

As for Bridesmaid’s would never have got, although i should have placed the face.

I’ve only ever seen that as a kid too, all i can remember is that it was quite madcap!

The Great Hump Day Quiz! 🐪

Welcome to another Great Hump Day Quiz!

We’re always trying to add more people to our quiz gang, so check out how to hide your answers, pop them in a post, and I’ll add you to the Scoreboard. :+1::slightly_smiling_face:

Where do the questions come from?

I found a mysterious old box of trivial pursuit, with even more trivial pursuits stuffed inside. It is a treasure trove of quiz questions, and all of them really old. :slightly_smiling_face: Perfect fodder for a Hump Day special. :+1:

Piecing together a few bits and bobs, there were three sets, and a couple of the instructions. One is a Genus Edition, dated 2001, and the other the 20th Anniversary one, 2004. There’s also another old style board and questions in there that looks/smells quite a bit older. That’s the box they’re all stuffed in, and that has ©1983 printed on it. No instructions, so not sure if that’s accurate. That one says it’s a Master Game Genus Edition.

(Edit: Now with an added sprinkling of more recent questions too :+1::slightly_smiling_face:)

So, there you go. It’s a bit random, but it should add to the fun. :slightly_smiling_face:
