Three follow up statements:

  1. The kids’ questions were really hard - kids must be smarter than they were in my day! Scary.

  2. :green_heart:3 - A Whale Shark is bigger than a Great White. It might not eat Seals but I’m sure the shrimp see it as predatory!

  3. I vote to keep the poop :poop: - tradition now and I quite like him constantly being in my list of recent emojis :rofl:

Often the answers are a bit iffy! I once argued the toss over Clark Kent’s home town being Smallville not Ohio!

Where does Ohio come from? Definitely raised in Smallville, Kansas… though you could maybe argue for a town on Krypton even if he left as a baby. Ohio though? :thinking:

Googling it, it seems Superman was created in Cleveland, Ohio. Maybe it had something to do with that?

I googled the whale shark and it said it was a filter-feeder, so I didn’t think it counted. :man_shrugging:

Yes, as a long time comic fan i know it’s Smallville. But in those days you couldn’t Google anything! So there i was the family comic geek arguing with civilians over the answer on the card! :joy:

No i had to abide by the answer on the card! I am old enough to have seen Superman The Movie at the cinema in 1978! Had been reading the comics well before that! So i think i was qualified to know the correct answer!
On a related note…read this week that the chap who played Aquaman in Smallville was virtually guaranteed the role of Thor, and he f****d up his audition and Chris Hemsworth got it.

Where do the questions come from?

I found a mysterious old box of trivial pursuit, with even more trivial pursuits stuffed inside. It is a treasure trove of quiz questions, and all of them really old. :slightly_smiling_face: Perfect fodder for a Hump Day special. :+1:

Piecing together a few bits and bobs, there were three sets, and a couple of the instructions. One is a Genus Edition, dated 2001, and the other the 20th Anniversary one, 2004. There’s also another old style board and questions in there that looks/smells quite a bit older. That’s the box they’re all stuffed in, and that has ©1983 printed on it. No instructions, so not sure if that’s accurate. That one says it’s a Master Game Genus Edition.

(Edit: Now with an added sprinkling of more recent questions too :+1::slightly_smiling_face:)

So, there you go. It’s a bit random, but it should add to the fun. :slightly_smiling_face:
