:trophy:

Special  to @Ian_Chimp for descriptive You Tube clips and also because I think a banana will make a healthier Tuesday breakfast than wine and Es!

Thank you to everyone who had a go, I love you all and welcome to the quiz thread @M-Sfnb1 ! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Thanks @Peitho The quiz was enjoyable and tricky

I am so bad at Music quizzes! Love listening to it but so bad at remembering anything about it… and it turns out knowing lyrics too . Pop Master - if I can get double figures I’m thrilled!

Anyway, I was very happy with the first one and it went downhill from there :see_no_evil:. I resent “relatively easy” :joy:

My very pitiful attempt...
  1. “The conversation has run dry” Torn - Natalie Imbrulia (sp?)
  2. Rings no bells
  3. Not a clue
  4. “My lip starts to shake” Wheatus - Teenage Dirtbag
  5. I think “Shot through the heart and you’re to blame” You Give Love a Bad Name - Bon Jovi
  6. Nope.
  7. Rings a vague bell but I can’t quite place it.
  8. I think it’s a Celine Dion song but I can’t get the next line and I can’t remember the title
  9. Nope.
  10. Not a clue.

Haha, not a bad try to be fair. Least you’ve had a go!

Well this went down like a lead balloon :joy: I’ll post the answers later on but @Peitho if nobody else enters then you’re most likely the winner

I’m sure this is really obvious when you know the answers but the whole lot has me stumped

I’m a music trivia person and only nailed one of 10 (#5), that said I usually avoid pop music and prefer alternative or little known bands.

These quizzes can be difficult and you end up kicking yourself once you realise what it is. Anyway, here’s the answers

1 Natalie Imbruglia - Torn

2 The drifters - come on over to my place

3 Luke Combs - even though I’m leaving

4 Wheatus- Teenage Dirtbag

5 Bon Jovi - you give love a bad name

6 Fleetwood Mac - go your own way

7 Westlife - fool again

8 Celine Dion - it’s all coming back to me now

9 Faith Hill - There you’ll be

10 Ed Sheeran - Bad Habits

@Peitho is the winner :medal_sports:

Yeah I’d never have gotten them, some of them I’ve never heard of

Well, I make my score 10 out of 30… I’m not sure that’s a pass but my vast knowledge was clearly too much for anyone else to take on! :joy:

To be honest, having seen the answers, I still wouldn’t have got 5 of them at all. Fleetwood Mac I can hear the song in my head now I’ve seen the answer but the other 5, still no clue without googling I’m afraid. Sticking with my statement of resenting, “relatively easy”, but I enjoyed it @M-Sfnb1 and thank you for setting it. Torn and Teenage Dirtbag brought back very happy memories from my formative years!

Haha, winning is winning. Next time I’ll do one that’s a bit more varied across genres and generations. Well done, 10 out of 30 isn’t bad!

I’m working on a general knowledge one so hopefully more people will have a go at that
