Thanks @Ian_Chimp - definitely enjoying the quiz (this was by far my best one and feeling smug for giving the full answer to Green 3!) plus since absolutely all of us apparently got Sardinians wrong that doesn’t exactly alter the scores .
Congratulation @WillC on your victory - I think this week was the closest I’ll get to you!
Think @Ace12345 deserves a bonus for her CJD answer though!
I think my marking has gone a bit askew! I think history has been missed out then all the others shuffled over if that makes sense? Sorry, I know I always do it so late!!
I think my scores should be
3.5
2
3
4
1
2.5
But congratulations @WillC!!! Very well deserved winner And to @Ace12345 and @Peitho for both getting 20 or over - amazing!
It is a little odd that they only accept Sards as I am sure both Sards and Sardinians is correct
It also seems a little strange that a game from the early 80s does not give both as a possible answer even though as @Ian_Chimp points out that was the case from 1974.
I am sure that at the time the game was released some of the answers given raised doubts about how correct they actually were.I never had this version I had the Baby Boomer set and an additional Sport set that @WillC would absolutely love.
Marking these can be a little tricky. I aim for friendly and consistent, and then if we all decide that an answer should be accepted that wasn’t on the card I can go back in and tweak the scores.
@Ian_Chimp I would think tricky is an understatement and if I gave the impression i was questioning your marking then I am really sorry as that was not my intention at all I was only referring to some of the inaccuracies of the games given answers.
You should all definitely question my marking (I’m actually relying on it ).
I only type out the questions and answers, so if you guys spot anything a bit off with them you should definitely shout out.
After checking everyone’s answers again (and Google ) I think I’ll add an extra point for Sardinians. +1 It doesn’t change the scoreboard order, but it gives @KottanKitten a little boost.
I think i mentioned it before, but i had a bit of friendly banter playing one Christmas, the question was something along the lines of “What U.S. state is Clark Kent’s family farm in Smallville situated in?” The Triv answer was something like Iowa, when it’s Kansas!
So the question setters are not always correct!
Welcome to this Wednesday’s Great Hump Day Quiz! All newcomers are most welcomeCheck out the rules, pop your answers in a post, and I’ll add you to the Scoreboard.
Where do the questions come from?
I found a mysterious old box of trivial pursuit, with even more trivial pursuits stuffed inside. It is a treasure trove of quiz questions, and all of them really old. Perfect fodder for a Hump Day special.

Dairy Cows… probably not the answer being looked for but I guarentee there will be dairy cows with these names. I know one personally called Buttercup and she is indeed very entertaining.

Red… I have a vague notion that they used Christmas lights, I might be making that up entirely but I’d have thought they would have been white at the time which wouldn’t really be a sensible question do going with red
